Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

Bulls injury updates?

I couldn't find anything here, but anyone know the results on Salmons's MRI?  All I keep hearing was he had an MRI yesterday....wow that's a great story...

Anyone know more about Deng?  Is he comign back? Any update?  I know they were "considering" shutting him down, but then I thought I last heard that he wanted to come back soon.....

Any other injury issues?  Tim THomas's back?  Tyrus Thomas?  Joakim Noah?  Derrick Rose's wrist?

Bulls are oddly tight lipped right now, even for them....and this much injured team....

Thanks.

Salmons is questionable for saturday

They say hes got a left groin strain or whatever….but that its been nagging him since training camp every now and then.

Ouch also Hinrich is questionable

So is Tyrus but still no idea what his injury is…

And Jerome James is out D:

Nothing new on Deng they said he started running and all that

CBS sports is where I looked

On 1000 AM driving home the implication on Salmons was there is a problem

This is incredibly disappointing. I don’t think we have the horses to take this home. No Salmons no playoffs.

Yeah, we're pretty screwed.

I really am gonna have a hell of a time living with Kirk at the 3 for the home stretch.

Do we throw Tyrus into the fire?

Do we hope for a D-League miracle. Your post led me to look up the stats of D-League wings

Jawad Williams: looks like he can shoot the lights out.
Patrick Ewing Jr: he’s got a name at lest.

I dunno… maybe they were just blowing smoke and he’s not that bad. Or Deng will miraculously heal.

I'd like to see Tyrus more at the 3

Have the Noah-Miller-Tyrus bigs lineup. Play a solid rotation of Ben-Derrick-Kirk for the guards….

God, why all the injuries…..seriously this has been one of the most injury plagued seasons ever, and you never really hear much about it…..hopefully next year our guys’ll be healthy and we can do what NO did last year…..surprise the masses after an injury plagued year….

3-31-09: The date when the last relative Vinny supporter knows he NEEDS to be canned. Fire Vinny, Fire Bickerstaff, hire a new head coach and keep Del Harris as the head assistant. Jerry, a player with Rose's skills and upside don't come around often.

says here

he’s hoping to play. however, looks like we’re pretty banged up. kirk and ty also skipped practice.

"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"

by Jaina on Apr 2, 2009 8:52 PM CDT reply actions

While we're at firing Vinny, can we also fire the training staff? This is ridiculous.

Stats with contextual observations, good. Stats with no context, bad. Anecdotal observations unsupported by data, the worst.

Or at least trade our staff with the Suns?

Ancient guys like Shaq, Nash, and Grant Hill can play high-level basketball, but Luol Deng has the body of Monty Burns?

Confusion breeds success. If they don't know each other, opponents can't have strategy. GENIUS.

Honestly.

I'm on board with that

Chicago Bulls Medical Staff > Crap

Derrick Rose colored glasses, gives you a "ROSY" outlook.

by Juan dela Cruz on Apr 3, 2009 4:59 AM CDT reply actions

Has Luol packed it in for the season&playoffs? heck the next 6 years?

I don’t believe he could crack into the starting lineup, but at least come off the bench for 5 minutes or so?

Luol rushed those idiots(GM, Owner and Co.) to get the contract done before he left for overseas. .. The idiots need to return the similiar favor…

man up!
