The Chicago Bulls did a lot of things right on Saturday afternoon in Boston en route to a 105-103 overtime win. They controlled the tempo on the Celtics' home floor, and mauled the league's second-best rebounding team on the glass. But it's impossible to consider any single facet of the game without focusing on Derrick Rose. Chicago's rookie point guard tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record for most points in a playoff debut with 36.
Rose's game displays a seamless combination of spontaneity and purpose. He's perfectly capable of free-forming at any moment -- even off a made bucket -- but he's also a master orchestrator who controls the halfcourt game from the point. Rose shredded the Celtics' defense Saturday and he did it in a variety of ways.

This was a great piece
FYI, though: You should only post a little snippet instead of the entire thing so that the author gets the page hit.
Arnovitz is great.

good advice
if you look at my other posts, I usually get creamed by Matt for not properly posting,
but I’m learning.
(broken links, fanshots v fanposts, repetitive coverage etc)
the point is that I search a lot of web sites for coverage of my favorite team and I try to post anything that I feel others with a shared passion for the bulls would love to read as well.
If only I could post as well and as quickly as some of you do on my observations of the bulls. I try and record every game and I go through them with a coaches angle repeating in slow motion any play on offense and defense that stands out to me for each player and/or as a team response. This writer did a great job describing what I saw D Rose do with Noah in the post as I had repeated it about 6 times in slow motion to figure out how Noah ended up being so open for the dunk! It was just so incredible to me that Rose took all of a split second to fool the defense into moving towards Tyrus in order to get Noah that easy dunk. That is why I HAVE TO record the games so that I can grasp all the minute details of our players developments.

Thanks for sharing that.
I wasn’t trying to be an ass. Arnovitz always has fantastic write-ups. I love how he analyzes the game.

If you copy-paste it into your address bar it words. Otherwise...
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
