Perfect, just what this team needs...

Lofty expectations.

I really hate that the Magic have become the trendy pick

to get eliminated early. Now people actually expect the Bulls to do something and the Magic are gonna have a HUGE chip on their shoulder.

Simmons has a point

If you look at the Bulls with a full roster after the trade there aren’t many teams better than us.

You forgot the "on paper"

and about five other qualifiers. But it’s like Matt has been saying for awhile: we don’t lack talent, and we should have been playing this well since the beginning.

Yeah I agree with all that just about

Which is why it was frustrating early in the season because they were basically underachieving.

But this is kind of why I was hoping for Deng to come back though I didn’t expect it.
We’d basically have a starting 5 coming off the bench and all of them playoff tested.

Bulls > Hawks - on paper I think

thats what I have been frustrated with, shouldn’t the Bulls be fighting the Hawks for the 4th playoff spot based on the talent level of the roster? I know Miller/Salmons was big improvement over Gooden/Noc but at beggining of year Deng was playing and it seems like only 6 games back there were chances to make those up throughout the year if Bulls had really maximized the talent

bascially I think the goal for next year has to get to that 4th seed even without some vast improvement by trade

Those ESPN guys are drunk on the Bulls second half surge

Wilbon was on the Tirico-Van Pelt show and actually touted VDN as a coach of the year candidate. Clearly, the Bulls didn’t make an ABC telecast this season.

Everyones been saying that it seems

Chris Webber for some reason said “Rose has a great coaching staff” in defense of his Co Rookie of the year award.
