Around SBN: The Ten Worst Swings Of The 2011 Season

Ben Gordon doesn't worry what others think, especially those who questioned his decision to shun two long-term offers from the Bulls the last two summers.
"It really doesn't make a difference to me. I'm going to try to do the things I need to do to accomplish what I'm trying to accomplish. Unless it's like my Mom or something, everything anybody else says doesn't have anything to do with the way I handle myself."

Gordon will be an unrestricted free agent July 1. As for wanting to remain with the Bulls, Gordon is noncommital. "Honestly, I haven't really thought much about it," he said. "I'm going to wait until after the season. All my options are open. I haven't closed any doors." -- Chicago Sun-Times

I believe him when he says...

that all options are open, but it’s not a good sign that he doesn’t sound like he particularly wants to be here. He’s not perfect, but the way he moves without the ball and his quick release are special.

hmmmm

I don’t think he sounds any which way by reading it.

What else can he say?

He has no job after July 1, he has to keep all of his options open, especially when the Bulls can pay him more than any other team.

is that Ben Gordon is selfish..." -your friendly bulls blogger

is there some rule that a quote like this has to be produced every 6 weeks?

and they have cap space this summer.

KC had a similar article

and making reference to the fact that the pistons could potentially pursue him. so at least it was in context…

"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"

yeah but at least

Hanley didn’t theme his article as a showcasing piece…like other idiotic writers we know.

Also…did he really need to put “Bulls” in front of Ben’s name in the title?

way to go KC…top notch

def a double meaning

but I think if we give him a good price, he’ll wanna keep being here

It's tough to be around competitive situations . . . but I've been able to manage. I've been able to survive. (GOAT)
