When I watch NBA games I often call the fouls before the referees do. Sometimes it’s a gift. Most of the time it's troublesome. - NBA Observer

Wow, this is crazy

I’m really starting to think we can get one of these series. We NEED to beat Detroit on Monday. Sadly I just don’t see it happening. Our defense is not at the level required to get a big road win like that. But then again, if we can’t beat Detroit, we probably can’t beat Orlando or Boston. So Monday should be a good litmus test for the playoffs.

detroit is actually only 2 games above .500

at home, surprisingly… it could be possible…

Yea, but we would have trouble beating Sacramento at home

It’s more about us then it is the other team. There really is no explanation for it, it’s gotta be a mental thing cause the talent is there. Or I could just blame Vinny… yea, I’ll blame Vinny:)

yeah, it's true.

i’m not saying i think we’ll do it, but i would have thought detroit would be better at the palace.

anyhow, good solution. ;)

from wikipedia:
2003: The first round was extended to a best-of-seven series. This change arguably benefitted the higher seeds as it reduced the likelihood of an upset by a lower seed. It also meant that a team who swept their series 4-0 might have to wait up to 2 weeks to play their next series against a team who had won 4-3.

2007 was the seed changing stuff.

LOL

Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro said he went wild after Charlotte lost on Friday. Well, not exactly. ‘’I went to bed,’’ he said.

As long as Kevin Garnett's not hurt, I'd rather them face Orlando.

They’re good, but A) not as good as Boston and B) I wouldn’t think they’d have the same “unbeatable aura” that Boston would

That is dumb.

Boston does not have an unbeatable aura…you are confusing last season with this season…they are vulnerable this season, especially with the injury to Garnett…

being as i don't believe in "auras" in the literal sense, i'd think you could take what i said as...

…hyperbole. Also being as I preference it with “As long as Kevin Garnett’s not hurt…”

But hey, if you want to be the expert an imaginary force fields, by all means, I’ll defer to you.

You don't believe in something you posited a team to have.

Okay.

And Kevin Garnett is hurt. He has not played since March 25th.

And he's expected to be back w/o limits on Wednesday.

But then, that’s why I made it a conditional statement. You know, if he’s NOT back (as you don’t think he will be), then the “then” part of the conditional doesn’t apply. Granted, it wasn’t put in the explicit “if-then” format apparently needed by those of lesser intelligence, but you know, I guess that’s on you.

And yes, I’m sorry, but most rational and normal people don’t believe in mystical force fields. I would think someone who reads sports blogging would be familiar with hyperbole or using cliches to exaggerate a nuanced point. Obviously, you’re not. My fault for asking for a little less literal reading by those who read my comments.
