Thats cool, it will be a nice place for him. So I guess this is his 4th team in 2 years?

He's much more tolerable at only $1.5M

and wouldnt you really rather have Kurt Thomas
in at crunch time than the bearded one?

spurs management is dumb like the bulls management
im pretty sure they see gooden as possible long term well compared to kurt thomas
i mean thomas has only like a few good seasons left in him while gooden can probably still play quality backup minutes for them in years to come should he stay which i dont see why anyone wouldnt
I like how we are seeing players getting paid
they way they should have always been because of the economy

Not really
He got bought out by the Kings, which means he received a good chunk of his 7 million dollar salary already. This is an added bonus for playing probably 30 games for them.
Confusion breeds success. If they don't know each other, opponents can't have strategy. GENIUS.

i believe
it was about 2mil$ the kings saved. so then he just basically got it all back.
"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"
(ok, the article says as much - 1.8mil)
but i said that before i actually read it :)
