Pretty long interview on Waddle and Silvy, about 40 minutes. They touch on a bunch of different things.

Don't discount

What he’s done in the past and his age……he’s had a bad year, but he still has value, that’s why he got what he got….he will be tradable, unless he misses the next 2 yrs with injuries (making it 4 straight).

You can't highlight the major points?

I can’t listen to Paxson he’s too long winded and close guarded with his words.

I’ll just wait for more comments I guess.

I agree he's got to be rank top ten boring interview person in the world

he says nothing and only talks about meaningless things like fans booing Kirk for not hitting free throw or 100 pt games..

man up!

i get his point though

one of the things i personally like about having a community like blogabull is the way the information is shared. I for one am in a place where atm i cant listen to the interview, so if someone could highlight the main points right now, id have an idea if the interview has any juicy tidbits that i would want to listen to myself when i got home. Besides the interview has been claimed to be about 40 minutes long, and i dont think its unfair for someone who was able to devote those 40 min. to the interview to just highlight what it was about so that those of us who may be tight on time dont have to make room just to listen to this interview to find out it was…well…pointless.

On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, majoyenrac, Bullshooter and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light!

Pax Interview tidbits

Seems to be a monthly Waddle & Silvy show: “Lunch w/ a Legend” …

Pax:

Things better today, roster is better, than it was pre-trade deadline…

Wants to see legitimate 8-9 man rotation w/ Lu in there…doesn’t know what will happen w/ him yet…

“We have a scouting staff” – well, that’s good

Staff was on Salmons from beginning of the year…was an undervalued player (How Billy Beanish of you Pax)

I'm listening to it and eating lunch so I'll almost sort of "live blog it" so people can get

the gist of it

Ha

The we have a scouting staff comment was friggin hysterical….I do think finally though you can see that they had some scouting going on (sans Rose) with the way Tyrus and Noah are starting to play…

Derrick is playing tonight, but not starting

I'd hope we were moving Deng and not Hinrich.

But the way Paxson never mentions Hinrich when talking about the future, makes you think that Hinrich is a goner.

Don’t get me wrong, Deng has a lot more upside than Hinrich, but he is more injury prone and has a lot worse of a contract.

You have been

wrong on so many things Andrew. I think it’s just wishful thinking on your part.

you actually want to keep him

after multiple tirades on how much he sucks?
