General manager needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen.

We loss Noce.. And now this whole team is Charmin (1ply)

we have to be the softest team in the NBA and playoff contention is when the play gets more physical.. I don’t believe we can make it. We have some nice offensive players in (Rose, Gordon, Salmons). VDN knows nothing about managing a team under toughness situations.
Gordon shouldn’t be allow to dribble, just catch and shot.. Tyrus and Noah are too soft and can’t finish. Miller and Gray are too slow and can’t move.

So many uncontested layups by little pg is sicking!

man up!

Gotta hand it to Chicago

When they play a game with almost no chance of winning, they either fail catastrophically, or make it one hell of a game. No in between with these guys.

Confusion breeds success. If they don't know each other, opponents can't have strategy. GENIUS.

by Ozzie Montana on Mar 11, 2009 8:52 PM CDT reply actions

Oh, and a little note from the Miami/Boston game

Combining tonight and Monday’s game, D Wade has now played 80 minutes without committing a single personal foul.

In reference to the Mighty Wade, it's lucky the late Wilt Chamberline played in a different era.

Although Wilt played in over 1200 NBA games and never fouled out even once,
if he had to go up against D Wade, he would have been gone before the 3rd period was over and Wade would be shooting at least 20 free throws, after holding the giant scoreless and blocking 10 of his shots.

Sorry, Wilt Chamberline was the 5 foot 3 inch hot dog vendor who worked the stadium while Wilt was on the Lakers.

The big guy’s name was Chamberlin. There was no silent e. like when you describe the Bulls, the “D” is usually silent.

Just think, if I was GM we would have traded for Wade on draft night.

Then again, if I was GM, there would be something wrong with the Bulls organization, because I was 13 at the time Wade was drafted. Why would they have a 13 year old GM?

Except Pat Riley wouldn't have traded the pick

Because every scout he had went insane went he wanted Kaman, and practically begged him to take Wade.

Roberson scored 8 quick points.

Although he rode the bench all season, he learned from the master D’Antoni, when you have a look, take the shot. Don’t be a chump and pass it into the black holes created by Vinny’s offense. Not only will you never see the ball again, the Bulls would probably turn it over if you did.

Better if he did 4 points every night instead of averaging 20ppg for the season. Better question — how well does he bowl?

Defense is the name of the game my Bully’s, when you learn this then everything starts falling into place. Remember Defense is #1 priority! Whatever happened to Johnny Bach? or for that matter Scottie Pippen? I’m sure they can teach the art of Defense. Can anyone answer this question or are they on John Paxsons shitlist?

How would describe how Rose played tonight? As long as we are going to be judging everyone based on one game rather than by this season…

wow, orlando playing without 2 of their best players (hidayet turkoglu jameer nelson)

and we still get blown out by 28. we are the worst 29 win team in the league. even okc, minnesnowta, memphis, and the clippers play games with more heart then we do. I’m starting to think now i hope we dont get the 8th seed because whether it be boston or cleveland in the first round we will get swept and lose each game by at least 25 points.

by joetheplumber on Mar 11, 2009 10:13 PM CDT reply actions

I just got back

from the game and I can’t believe I spent $100 on this fucked up game. VDN sucks and needs to go a.s.a.p. everytime they came out of a time out they fucking turned it over. There was absolutely no game plan at all.

This is a preview of not having Gordon next year.

Miller is slower than Robert Parish in his last year.

The bitch that works at the Stadium wouldn’t let my son participate in the freakin pregame activities because he wearing a Bulls jersey and I’m not assuming thats what it was, she told him this.

Just a horible experience all together.

yes

bulls can win any game. if we live in a world where the clippers can beat boston then anything is possible

by sin on Mar 11, 2009 11:48 PM CDT up reply actions

Boston is without KG so.......thats that.

Bulls beating an Orlando team licking their chops for a win at home. Come on dude. Everything was lined up for a loss. They went bowling yesterday. A team that doesn’t know who their goto man is went bowling. A team that doesn’t run plays well out of TO’s went bowling. A team that still can’t play help side defense went bowling.Oh yeah but they’ll beat Orlando in Orlando after one of the biggest losses of the season that left them so tired of basketball they went bowling.

only reason miller was out so early

was noah’s foul trouble. and rose was getting burned bad, but i didn’t think he should be pulled. but noah was having problems all night. it was kinda funny not even 6 minutes into the game both starting centers were out with 2 fouls.

Read this..thougt id post it here
Tyrus Thomas: Two of his 13 shots were attempted in his range, by which I mean, at the basket. The other 11 were jumpers from 23 feet, 20 feet, 19 feet, etc. WHY IS TYRUS THOMAS SHOOTING JUMP SHOTS?! This man is driving me crazy. He’s having a love affair with his jump shot, only his jump shot is like a secret girlfriend who doesn’t really exist. In addition to going 4-for-13 from the field — and his 13 shots were a team-high, by the way — Tyrus finished with only 5 rebounds (none of which were offensive) despite playing a game-high 37 minutes. At one point in the third quarter, he lofted yet another balky jumper (from 20 feet) and immediately started lazily backpedaling despite the fact that the shot was pretty clearly off target. He never crashed the boards. He was totally lost on defense, particularly in pick and roll situations. Derrick Rose got picked by Ty’s man three times in the third. Not once did Tyrus switch off, and Rose’s guy, Rafer Alston, strolled in for three uncontested layups. Each time, Derrick turned, disgusted, to the sidelines and held up his hands in a “Are you watching this crap?” gesture to Vinny Del Negro
