We don't have enough players for Lu to pull his disappearing act tonight.
Man-slave, bring me my PB&J!
Where is that short 2 who can score at times?W e need him.
General manager needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen.
Sir Paxdorf.
Have the Bulls run out of gas?
They seem to be wearing down.

Nope.
When he does that jab step I freak out, but catching and shooting when he is open is fine by me.

This compares their first 5 seasons
Miller was truly great on offense and Ben isn’t there.
Man this game is making me tense.
I really want the W for them, as hard as they’ve played.

as a new guy here i believe (almost) no one should ever be band
unless they are totally not adding anything to the conversation of the Bulls. The reason I say this is because provocative journalism/media has a very important role in society to at least spark interest. If someone is being useless and not thought provoking and just a distraction in general to discourse then can them. But if they just have a very polar opinion I think they bring a lot to a message board. just my s cents
Way to start off on the wrong foot.
It’s not provocative journalism that gets someone banned.

well...im sure it wont be that interesting save a small percentage
of people that enjoy taking a stance on almost meaningless things except for some crazy gene they have that says, “what the heck…i got nothing else to do!” (lol)-sorry that thought is just kinda funny to me…and i promise to not be too annoying nor will I drag it out for more than 5 or 6 years? I promise. cool?
No, I believe what I'm typing when I type it.

Viva la nuance! Reading comprehension rules!!!
see. for me its more like
hmmmm…i am not 100% on any particular topic but i usually have a gut feeling and i am willing to go with my gut instincts which are usually dependable but can be off sometimes. yet i still am wiling to go with it. just for purposes of discussions…if and or when i am wrong i enjoy conceding to a better thought or idea or position. its like a way of ginving a compliment for someone that had a particular position and as history unfolds every one is left to decide. those that stick to their guns so-to-speak get the most rewarding “that-a-boy” from those most vehemently opposing.
if Amare wore an eyepatch would that change your mind?

I don't know if it is Vinny
or the fact that we have no one else to play right now and the last month and a half we had injuries that forced him to do the same. I am glad of what is happening, but Vinny is just playing what he has. He is still benching the hot hand for some reason. That drives me nuts.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
haha
hopefully this makes vinny realize that putting nocioni in a game is just asking to loose it :-D
"we dont need a total rebuild, we just have a coach that is trying to fit the sqaure pegs in the round holes, players do well if you set the up to succeed, not try to mold them into a system designed for another team"
thats why we won
he would have benched noah and tyrus as soon as they got close 2 foul trouble and played noc and gray and we would have lost, this proves he can trust the young bigs. they played smart tonight

Even Linsday was getting into the act
He told KC Johnson the Bulls were dressing 7.5 players.

Here's what really sucks:
If Rose quickly turns into a star (if not THE SUPERSTAR) in the next couple of years, a 3-man backcourt of Hinrich, Gordon and Rose could be one of the better ones in the NBA, 96-minutes wise. God, is Top-5 too high? I don’t know. It just sucks that they aren’t going to keep Gordon, or that, if they do, they’ll have to rid Hinrich to do it.
Viva la nuance! Reading comprehension rules!!!
So between Gordon and Hinrich which would you keep......
Is this a new thread?
Honestly,
I kind of wish Pax had turned Salmons around to one of the teams that wanted him for expirings. And that JR would pay the damn tax. I love our guard rotation right now.
Man-slave, bring me my PB&J!
yeah, but we have no backup 3
unless this would have meant keeping thabo.
"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"
Well, I would have kept Thabo.
But I’m still glad he got traded since they weren’t playing him and it didn’t bring back another guy to expect minutes.
Plus, any player who plays hard and all those other cliches is welcome in Oklahoma.
Man-slave, bring me my PB&J!
i could dig
a rose, gordon, salmons backcourt, if john doesn’t whine about coming off the bench… he’s only about a year older than kirk, so not THAT bad…
"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"
though i guess that would mean BG would need PG duties
which i’m not crazy about… guess we need a backup PG.
"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"
Roberson lol

10 minutes
split up in five minute stints. Maybe even less. That isn’t too bad, especially if he has some go-to plays to run as the PG with some of our other players to set them up. As long as it is structured time I don’t see it being a problem. If we had a post player we can run the offense through that for short stints.

If Ben keeps having this much fun, he might just stay for less money.
If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost. You can still call him vile names.

of him getting paid what he is worth

So who was more valuable in this game
deng or hinrich….can we trade the worse of those two (fyi to gordon fans, trading deng would clear up a hellava lot of room huh huh huh????)
On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, majoyenrac, Bullshooter and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light!
I would love to trade Deng
I think Salmons could do what Deng does at the three then we can resign BG and keep Kirk as the 6th man

I think Deng is underrated on defense and Salmons is overrated on defense.
Both due to the overvalue of “athleticism” and undervalue of “smarts”.

Oh hell no
John Salmons is not very good. He’s had a career year this season playing for a bad team that has really struggled as a franchise over the last few seasons.

I think the offseason shocker will be Pax trading Deng and keeping BG.
No matter what Derrick Rose will need a sharp shooter to pass to. BG is one of the best in the league. Pax already tried trading Deng to Portland. He knows that contract is a problem.
Sigh
After years of the Kirk vs. Ben debate, we now get Ben vs. Salmons AND Kirk vs. Lu?
Will no one just let me love them all and enjoy the basketball?
Man-slave, bring me my PB&J!
Enjoying basketball is for saps!

well put
also, no doubt the players look at it as a competition as well, especially in terms of contracts.

Looking into my crystal ball, I predict that the addition of Brad Miller
is going to breathe new life into Deng
is going to accelerate TT’s great potential
is going to give Ben Gordon more open shots with his accuracy at the elbow
is going to take the pressure off Noah, so he can go all out without worrying about foul trouble
Beware of the Bulls they are sharpening their horns.

Was Miller coaching Noah from the bench tonight?
They were sitting and talking when Noah was out of the game.

This was a good game
Many will shake their heads, but you could see there was some good body language out there tonight. The guys really pulled together for this victory.
I also officially hate Billups. I can’t stand how people give him more credit than Carmelo or Nene. Give me a break.

I've noticed lately
that the team really communicates on the floor. They didn’t use to do that very often.
