Epic Fail.
Good for a laugh tho.

Five trades that should happen

I never really got the David Lee love

He’s a nice player, but I wouldn’t give them TT for him in a million years.

Agree there

Read that and was shocked again at the ESPN New York bias.

Surely Pax is smarter than to trade a guy who not only is better than Lee but who seems to be a perfect D’Antoni player in the future…..to D’Antoni’s team.

i think it's funny

that some of the comments think it’s a good trade from our side… but no one’s on there saying why on earth would they give up tyrus for david lee???

TT for Amare, yes,

TT for Bosh, hell yes,

but TT for David Lee, I’m with you on that, hell no.

The Game chose him !

lol
Lee would bring a change in culture to the franchise.

Really, Chad Ford? I like Lee, but this type of stuff just needs to stop.

I'd consider it with Jeffries out and Jerome James in

That frees up $11.8M in cap space for next year, which, coupled with our remaining space, gives us the ability to re-sign both Lee and Gordon.

We go into 2010 with:
Deng $11.37
Gordon $9.17
Lee $9.17
Rose $5.55
Noah $3.13
2009 Pick $2.00
2010 Pick $2.00
Cap Holds $3.4M

Cap space ~$17M

That looks like a pretty reasonable deal to me

and I think to get Lee you'd be better served jus trying to create cap space

and making an outright offer, since if theyre trading him its because they arent going to match.

i.e. you probably dont even have to give up Tyrus to get him in that case. Then you could package T2, with LH(expiring) over the summer or next deadline to bring in something bigger.
