Red Honor
The Bulls will honor Johnny "Red" Kerr tonight for what is now a Hall of Fame-recognized career.
Kerr will receive the 2009 John W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the halftime ceremony. Chicago native Jerry Colangelo, a Hall of Fame member and now vice chairman, will present the award, which is considered the most prestigious presented by the Hall outside of enshrinement.

When I think of the Bulls I think of Red

Honestly. He was always there and I’m going to catch the game just to see him get honored. It will be nice to see.

well deserved.

but they need to induct him into the hall of fame.
if dicky V is in there, there is no reason that Big Red Kerr isn’t

Chicago... Where giving up career nights happens

Glad I'll be there in person tonight to see this

But sad news, if the report is true.
Red has cancer, and if I read between the lines correctly, can’t be good news for him. They moved tonight’s ceremony from April …

Press the trade button. At this point no one will be missed!

Will it be televised? Can someone put it up on-line afterward?

I’m in California and I would imagine they’re not going to show the ceremony on league pass broadband. Can some kind and savvy person put up a torrent of it afterward?

Tanks!
