Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

No coach ever has survived losing like this.
I assume it would be an interim from the staff if they make a change.

Sam Smith replies to my email

Do you see ANY signs of this continuing? Is it safe to say that Vinny
is as good as gone?

And if he does get canned, what are the chances they hire someone
before the season end instead of the Summer

You know, so the next coach has a feel for the team by then and any
FA's they're after know what's up with the Bulls

Hmm...

Survival is a weird way to put it…I mean, if VDN gets fired at the end of the season, he has not technically survived.

Sam assumes they would promote someone from the bench if a change were made…then why make the change at all?

Face it, DelNegro is the coach through the end of the season.

Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and LLE will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.

I'd bet big money that he doesn't last.

Even if it won’t help the team win, Vinny will be fired just to please the masses. Something needs to happen after this type of losing, the likes of which I’ve never seen before.(I’m only 22, so if anyone can remember a stretch of horseshit play like this, clue me in on it, as I can’t imagine a worse ten game stretch.)

i agree

hes gone, cuz like always thats how teams solve problems, its hard to get rid of the players, so start with the coach…again maybe vinny was always set up for this…his contract is pretty miniscule at any rate, and im still positive that third year was not guaranteed.

Whats more important is what they do afterwards, id seriously want to get byron scott or any one with any bit of reputation, not just another in house guy…2010 is already stressing enough, are the bulls also gonna search for a coach at the same time? Ah but with this organization i digress….

Im gonna go watch the detroit pistons vs bulls in the second round of the 2006 playoffs…good stuff

I also agree..Vinny is done....finished.

The shoe incident, Rose leaving the locker room before the media could question him, and tonigh Rose questioning the effort of some of the players. That is going to affect the wallet of JR.

Named and anonymous players now leaking comments to the press about their coach and the play of other players is shades of skiles/boyland all over again.

What was the shoe incident?

I can’t remember…

Sadly....through thick and thin....

Duh

Sorry, I was thinking someone threw a shoe (as to me that’s the Shoelace/Deng incident)….

Sadly....through thick and thin....

IIRC,

Skiles resigned, or something along those lines. The rumor I heard on the radio was that he walked into Pax’s office and basically told him he can’t coach this team anymore, that he didn’t have their attention and that he was being tuned out.

I think it depends on if the 3rd year is guaranteed.

3 months of salary is a lot less than 9!

In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).

Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.

I done emailing that guy. I ask him a question and he shoots everything down.

He just as short sighted as the Gm’s.

I mean thanks for the reply back even though it had no thoughts.

I stopped emailing him a long time ago

when his response to my question of, “why does JR deserve my support for his basketball team?” was:

Basketball teams aren’t allowed to make money?
