Ok, this is complete bullshit.
Rose popped up to the arc ro Salmons right and was wide open with 8 seconds left. He could have EASILY got the ball but Salmons made his own decision to shoot it- a ridiculous, terrible, selfish one. So what is VDN supposed to do? Castrate John for this? Not publicly. (Privately, hopefully.) But it’s clear this play was for Rose and it’s clear by watching the tape Rose could have easily received the ball.

Look no one is a huge VDN fan, but the loss was not his fault. It looked like he had an acutal play drawn up, but the Fish decided to do his own thing.
Out coaching VDN, so easy a cave man could do it.
The loss is his fault,
the last play wasn’t. The lack of a scheme on both sides of the court was glaring, as was the lack of effort of his players. Vinny sucks.
