Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah has been fined $15,000 for throwing the ball into the stands and striking a photographer, it was announced Monday by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 7:19 remaining in the 3rd period during the Toronto Raptors 110-78 victory over the Bulls on December 5 at United Center.

how dare you noah...

how dare you show heart, compassion, emotion, and love for the game and winning, and total disgust for losing and giving up in games! That is simply unforgivable!! Dancing, Trimming your nails, and making a mockery of the game in general however is perfectly permissable…but if you ever act like you actually care about the game ever again..!!!

Well

I get the rule….I liked Noah’s heart (loved his heart) but if the ball didn’t hit a camera (and in turn a cameraman) it would have hit a fan. THe league has to avoid this….

Rather than have Noah punt it into the stands, I’d have rather him blew up in a Wade attack on Payton aggression during the game to rile them up (see NBA finals)….

Sure it gets a bit more controversy, but might be the smack in the mouth that gets us competing….

Sadly....through thick and thin....

And I bet he'd do it again

And I’d support him…maybe he’s the guy that can get on everyone’s asses about playing hard…no if only we had a coach who could help in that regard

Why isn't Lebron getting fined?

Silvy said it earlier today on ESPN1000, if you get suspended for leaving the bench and stirring the pot, shouldn’t Lebron be suspended, or at least fined, for approaching the bench?

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.
