"Derrick Rose is extremely talented," Bosh said. "He's very quick and very athletic, and I think his upside and potential are very high. He can be as good as he wants to be, and that might be an elite player in this league."

I think Bosh realizes the Heat then the Bulls are going to be his best fit when he leaves.
I just think Wade and South Beach are gonna be to tempting for him to come to Chicago. Lets all hope that the Heat sign Boozer. Lebron re-signs with the Cavs and Joe Johnson signs with Cavs. STAT goes to NYC and Bosh signs with us. CB24?
Homecoming
I think the only way we get Bosh, is if Lebron signs in Miami.
So either way we won’t be winning a championship from 2010 free agency, unless it’s in a season where Lebron/Wade go down with an injury.

i cant see Lebron and Wade co-existing.
I think Bron will stay with the Cavs or go to NYC. The Cavs have $$ available so I think they will make a big trade this year to stay competitive or sign someone like Joe Johnson in the off-season. I think STAT will go to NY or will come here. I think Bosh wants to play in MIA with Wade. That team would be ridiculous.
If I am Pax and Gar I try to pry Randolph from the Warriors and build towards the future. Rose is 21, Noah is 24, Deng is 24, JJ is 22 and Taj is 24. By the time Wade and Lebron are getting finished Rose will be in his prime and ready to contend for a ring.
Homecoming
The way the Bulls are playing, they might have a low lottery pick to get a SG or PF
or to use as a trade chip.

My guess is LeBron goes to New York
simply because he such an attention whore.

I think NY and Cleveland are still the favorites
really, the only two choices IMO. On one hand, I think he is a pretty loyal guy, and he wants to be loyal to his city and his teammates. I think he will see it as a stain on his career if he can’t win with the Cavs…
But on the other hand, Lebron is a huge show off. I think Lebron loves being a celebrity. He loves being loved. So if he leaves Cleveland, he goes to the one place where he can be the biggest celebrity ever. Where he could surpass Kobe and MJ in media fame and adoration. He goes to the Knicks and tries to become their Jordan. In the biggest basketball city in the world, the best former player is… Walt Frazier? Ewing? I think Lebron sees a chance to imprint himself upon potentially the biggest fan/media base in the NBA – the Knicks. He said he wanted to be a global icon. You don’t get more global than NY. And everyday, he gets to hang with celebrities in the crowd. Jay-Z, Chris Rock, Spike Lee, Woody Allen etc., etc. And Lebron would be the main attraction. I think he would love that. Look at all the pre-game routines and posing and dancing. He loves attention. No better place to get attention than the Knicks.

Lebron
Won’t go to Miami simply because by virtue of him leaving he can only get paid for 5 yrs for less money than Wade, and I simply don’t see Lebron going to Miami or any team to be second fiddle to anyone….
I do think as players they can coexist just fine together, given that both are friendly and apt to pass the ball….
But I doubt Lebron will want to be paid less than anyone on his team….and it’ll be HIS team even if Wade is arguably just as good if not gasp better…
Sadly....through thick and thin....
Well last year
In that 4th quarter where Rose took over and scored 17 or 19 or whatever (scored a lot, it’s been a while), it seemed Bosh was watching him in pure amazement DURING that game…
I hope it’s enough….
I’d love us to get Bosh, shed Deng for a pick and some cap relief
And go:
Rose-Hinrich
Draft Pick-Salmons-Hinrich
Tyrus Thomas-Salmons
Bosh-Thomas-Taj
Noah-wily veteran….
That’s a lineup.
Deng’s alright, he’s quite good, but he has the most value right now and we need help. He’s a good #3, a decent #2, but we’re not going anywhere iwth him our #1….
Sadly....through thick and thin....
If the Bulls tank and land the now-injured Evan Turner....
….and re-sign Tyrus Thomas and get a good coach, I might not be quite so pissed off. Sure, I’d be mad about Lawson, Budinger, Blair, but “meh”.
In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).
Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.
I don't think Turner's entering the draft now. He just broke his back, he's out for the season.
He’s going to want another year to build his stock back up.
1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

I thought he was just out for 8 weeks.

Ooh...
That injury looked TERRIBLE. He might come back, but an injury like that will no doubt lead to back issues, etc….I’d take him with the 16th or 26th pick :) as long as he proves relatively healthy, but I really think that injury could completely jeopardize his playing career.
Back injuries suck ass for us normal folk….an injury like that would be devastating to an athlete.
Sadly....through thick and thin....
but hell, with how the team is shaping up to look next year....
…they might have a better chance to get him anyway. Top-3 lottery bound! Yay!!!!

I'm so glad I'm not a draft dork
I’d be likely even angrier knowing what the Bulls are missing.

Um, they missed out on quite a bit
but then again, how do we know when we’ve seen out top pick play a total of like 4 quarters all season long…?

Tell me something I don't know.
Metal sharpens metal.
And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan
