Proof positive that the Bulls quit on their coach:
That’s your captain, Luol Deng, not trying to steal the ball while Jarrett Jack ties his show DURING THE GAME.
Great example, Lu!

Yep, there's no excuse for this shit

Did he really? In Thailand for a while, can't watch the games.
This is a good thing though. Only a few weeks till christmas. Maybe we can get a real coach now…ya know…the kind that might actually attract a top caliber FA? Like the kind with coaching experience?
We can only hope and pray

Yeah
I taped that game, my wife was out visiting her sick grandma, and I was like well I’ll at least watch the game, got back around 2 hours into the game and quickly fast forwarded through it….
For that crap, I’m giving myself a few days of no Bulls games….they don’t deserve my time. Of course I’ll still be here….as lately, sadly, yet again BaB is far more entertaining than my Bulls.
At least Noah flipped out last game….Noah rules….
Sadly....through thick and thin....
one of the things that I was liked about ultimate frisbee is that anyone can take
a time out to tie their shoes.
It's harder to
Tie a show than most people think.

Hiiiiiiiii
larious.
I support the Tornado Release ... and Young Bucks.
Deng is trash
He had no instinct to try and steal the ball??? Come on man.
This team does not deserve our attention, absolutely pathetic. If Wade, Lebron, Amare, Bosh or Joe doesn’t come here I am officially done…sad thing is I’m kinda looking forward to not caring again. No stress

Maybe he was just playing a gentleman's game
The mania is still runnin' wild and the madness still flows through the veins.
Listen....
Deng plays hard, but he doesn’t appear to have natural basketball instincts. I’ll bet basketball isn’t even his favorite sport, maybe soccer. Anyways, Luol is long and he’s a solid defender, but he’s average. The reason he’s so succesfull is because we’re playing 2 SF’s so we get match up problems. Sometimes smaller guards defend him, and Luol posts them up, if Luol switches to PF he uses his quickness to make plays even though defensively he gets burned. So Luol’s numbers are deceiving. Against teams with natural SF’s Deng doesn’t do well 4pts in the Boston game vs Pierce, 6pts in the L.A game vs Artest, 14 pts against Charlotte’s Gerald Wallace on 6-17 shooting, 16 points in the game gainst Sacramento and Donte Green, 15 and 11 points in the two games vs Cleveland’s Lebron James. Luol needs a favorable mismatch to be effective on offense. Luol is a role player being asked to score, he got a huge contract that he doesn’t deserve, he plays hard, he’s got skill, but he wouldn’t even be a second option to score for a good team. And I won’t even discuss his play making passing skills because it’s non existant. Luol won’t throw a back door pass, he won’t feed a cutting player, he’s never thrown a lob pass in his life. If you under the goal wide open, he may hit you, if your open on the perimeter he may pass it, passing is the part of Lu’s game I hate the most.

Hmmm Lemme see ...
BG leaving, T2 minutes/injury, opponents dancing, Luol thinking these are pickup games, DRose laughing after the game , etc. Somebody other than Noah should get angry that the team gave up. Anybody, somebody? When will JR care? When profits are down?
JR quit on the team
so why should they care when they are too undermanned to win?

What does this have to do with Vinny?
The organization continues to put out mediocre to bad teams every year with seemingly no fear of backlash from fans that are continually willing to pay money for tickets to watch kiss cams and get free Big Macs, and a local media that is more than happy to just sit back and not hold anyone accountable while this all goes down year after year. The state of basketball in Chicago is in a poor place right now, and it isn’t Vinny’s fault (at least most of it isn’t).
"That's a spicy meatball-a!" - Vinny Del Negro
Vinny's not helping matters, but I am getting sick of these teams that all quit on their coach.
Now, it’d be nice if mgmt would step up and hire someone worthy of the position, but still. This is the third coach in a row that these guys have just laid down on. Deng has looked totally disinterested the last few games.

What is the big deal?
If Deng had stolen the ball, the Cows might have only lost by 30 points, instead of 32 points.

Just a lack of leadership. Saw it against the Cavs, too. Just sat on the bench like a sad sack
while Noah shouted at LeBron and continued to sit there pouting as LeBron sauntered over to the bench to get in Noah’s face. He’s a pathetic captain. Fine player and all, but just a pathetic leader.

I don't see how this means the players quit on the coach...
I didn’t see the game live…but this speaks volumes about both the basketball IQ and aggressiveness of Bulls players.
Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and LLE will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.
They are trying anymore. Getting blown out in 6 of their last 8 games and losing 7 of 8 is indicative
of that. Getting beat by 32 on your home floor by a sub .500 team with no defense is indicative of quitting on your coach. Not trying is indicative of it, and they didn’t even TRY to go get the ball when Jack did this. The Bulls have quickly become a laughing stock. It’s truly pathetic.

WTF?
How do you just stand there and let him tie his shoe, with the ball on his side, for 5-6 seconds and not try to take the ball. This is the second game in a row this team has been treated like a joke. Like I said and will continue to say, Luol Deng is a nice, solid player, but he does not have the fire in him. It’s the same reason he has disappeared so much during games in the past. I feel like Noah is the only one who competes but these other guys are not coming along with him.

This is all true.
This is the reason we need a true superstar player. Rose is a PG and unless he is Paul he will need to be the 2nd best player on a championship team. Deng is best as a 3rd scoring option and a 4th best player behind Noah on a championship contender. Deng is not going to lead the Bulls anywhere except to the lottery.
He is a nice complementary player, but not someone you build a franchise around. This Organization needs Wade, Bosh or Lebron period. We can add Boozer, Johnson or STAT as well but the hole at the 2 or 4 would have to be filled with a pretty good player if we want to compete for a ring with the latter ground of players.
Homecoming
We will miss Noah,
when The Organization lets him go to a team who is willing to pay him what he is worth.
I feel like Noah is the only one who competes

Difference is
Noah’s one of those hustle and grit guys the team likes…except Noah actually has a ton of bball IQ and some real skill (ball handling, passing for his size, ability to get boards—that’s not all hustle folks), he looks like a lifer in Chicago unless he gets tired of us paying for mediocrity…
And Noah is friendly with BG, so perhaps BG’ll tell him how it is out of Chicago…
Sadly....through thick and thin....
I can see both Noah and Rose taking the QO so they can leave for a better team.
Gordon, Rose and Noah could be the core of a new Pistons championship team. :(

If he keeps this up....
…someone will pay him $13-$14 million, and the Bulls won’t match the RFA citing “offensive deficiencies.”
Maybe this is why they won’t let him be a captain yet.
(shut up, sue)
In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).
Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.

Some people are down playing it but to me it’s a microcosm of some of the play we’ve seen in these losses.

The Raptors coach said it best:
http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2009/12/bulls-respond-to-jacks-shoe-tying—-2-days-late.html
“If it was one of our guys guarding their guy, and the guy tied his shoe, I would expect our guy to go over and knock him on his ass,” Raptors coach Jay Triano said today.
Of course, Vinny makes an excuse for Deng saying he never saw it. The video seems to contradict that, but whatever.
Wow
Thank you! That’s what anybody should expect.

Vinny's excuse was lame
Saying Lu didn’t see him. Aren’t you supposed to be watching what the hell is go on with the ball??

Wow, that's just sad.
Almost as sad as I am for being a sucker and renewing my season tickets this year. :(
