Every player (person) has their down side but MJ grew up in a way he just wouldn’t do things like that. He even asked Dean Smith one time if his dunk was too flashy (of course he wasn’t always like that but it shows how he kind of came up)

And Lebron grew up as the “chosen one” so I can see why he does things like this. He may not really think himself he is showing someone up. Also MJ wasn’t on a speaker phone trash talking or in the press conference that’d be a different story. I think some of his was to intimidate.

LeBron actually encourages his teammates and passes the ball to them. Kobe plenty of times has yelled at his teammates even when the blame should be on him….tries to throw up a contested shot double or triple teamed while a teammate is wide open (he’s finally matured where this is rare now)….completely gave up on his team after half time of a playoff elimination game….the list goes on and on.

Kobe has been that way throughout most of his career…of course everything is peachy now when you’re on a team that good….but it’s not like he’s this humble guy on the court out there either. A lot of things people complain about LeBron…Kobe does as well if not more. Like one thing I always respected about LeBron is that even when he gets fouled excessively, I never see him try to start shit with the guy who fouled him. Earlier this season I see a player give Kobe a little bump and Kobe is trying to give the other guy a long stare down…completely unnecessary. Kobe doesn’t dance on the court though, I’ll give him that.

What a depressing night

I don’t normally approve of homophobic slurs, but I’m tempted to make an exception in Lebron’s case. With the way he was prancing around the court all night, he demonstrated how little respect he has for the Bulls. And honestly, I’m not sure the Bulls deserve any more respect than Lebron showed them. Thank God somebody on this team finally had the balls to stand up to him. Could you imagine what would happen if Lebron pulled that shot with somebody like Charles Oakley or Rick Mahorn on the other team?

“I would really love to play with Lebron” . . . seriously, he almost sounded like a starstruck groupie. Say what you want about Kobe, but he’s competitive as hell. Even when he first came into the league out of high school, he wanted to kick MJ’s ass, not suck up to him. I’ve never been a fan of Kobe’s, but I’ve always respected him. I just don’t know if Rose has that killer instinct.

But I totally agree those are the types of players I want on my team. Noah has it in him, I don’t know that Rose really has it.
He’ll be a nice complement player or All star but never on Kobe or the top tier players level. I agree he just doesn’t have that nastiness that makes you hate the other player. Jordan was the ultimate player because he would push his own mother down to win.

This team just has aww shucks guys. I think Rose might be too comfortable to be that person. He likes the money the fame and the attention but i don’t know if he’ll ever be that guy that wasn’t to kill to win.

Now that I'm over Lebron's display...

- The Bulls have got to find a way to get defensive rebounds. The 17 offensive rebounds they gave up today, 4 off missed free throws is pathetic. I usually blame Taj, but this really is a team problem Rose, Salmons, Deng – those guys have to crash the boards. When you are as bad offensively as the Bulls, you can’t give the team so many possessions. The Bulls have to win the rebounding and turnover battles or they are going to lose. The rebounding problems also kill the Bulls fast break.

- The Bulls have to get some beef down low. Screw Harrington. The Bulls need a big body to bang. They will keep getting blown out until they fix their interior defending and scoring problems.

- I can’t hate on VDN too much … but he has to stop pulling Salmons and Rose at the same time. They are the only two guys on this team who can create a shot.

- I really don’t have any complaints about individual players. I just think the Bulls were completely outclassed, again, tonight. They just don’t have the talent to compete. Last year they could score enough to keep themselves in these games. This year – not so much.

Well thats why I bring up Charles Barkley I think other guys aren’t willing to say anything. Lebron has been labeled the chosen one and King over the NBA guys are intimidated by him or its like an MJ type of mystique (if you saw the Chamillinaire vid) how guys even like Paul Pierce-Spike Lee if MJ is being bogus on someone they’ll just stand there and say nothing because hes MJ.

I liked to see it I’m not looking for him to try and bash Lebron or anything I don’t have anything against him. But in you can’t let someone show you up not in this situation/business/ etc etc.

To me things like this subconsciously affect your team though. You want a guy standing up like that even if it doesn’t help; if he did it the way Smurf was saying the team would probably get softer. I know it sounds silly but I’ve been on teams where things like that happen. Its hard to explain it.

Well I don’t think he said that first. And I think Lebrons dancing was more over the top than anything Noah could say…..well I could think of a few things but still.

Its like when Ron Artest went up to Kobe in last years playoffs. I thought Charles was right in that Artest standing up to Kobe helped that team. Now I’m not saying we’re going on a big time winning streak but it only showed me or gave me more reason to believe Joakim is just a guy you want on your team. I understand your point of view

It shows the player isn’t going to back down to another because he respects him too much. However, it’s all meaningless if a player talks a bunch of shit and then goes out and lays an egg out on the court (not saying Noah does this, just in general). That said, I’m not going to say Noah’s actions are not going to fire up the team. It might, however, if they are going to get fired up about something they would probably get fired up already by the way LeBron was disrespecting them with or without Noah’s actions.

Noah is probably my favorite player on this team…his actions today doesn’t change my opinion of him. He just called someone a bitch out of frustration with the game and the disrespect that was shown. Perhaps this will rally the team around him…perhaps not. I just felt a better alternative was for him to express to James specifically why he’s being a bitch. My reasoning is because it seems James is clueless on why his showboating act is disrespectful. I can totally see him be completely oblivious to the fact that the other team is taking offense to his dancing.

to me the game ended when the Bulls looked dead tired and weren't running any plays.

VDN missed his chance to call a TO being down by 2. Then Taj jacked a Luol style brick and they rebounded it to i think Mo Williams who drained a three and then FINALLY VDN called a TO but it was too late that three was crushing because the Bulls had control of the game but couldn’t score. The VDN gave up once the lead blew up to 11?

One more post game complaint

Deng is now 4-4 on his last 4 3’s and is shooting 7-11 from 3 on the season.

Hey asshole, the offense is struggling, step back 10 inches, take the better shot and quick making me insane by shooting 6 long 2s a game. Does Deng realize that 3’s are worth more than 2s or does he think the line is out there for show-offs? Does Deng realize that shooting 33% from 3 is equal to shooting 50% in long 2s?

Really, a 3pt shot would make Deng so much more effective. I have to think, giving his shooting, he is going to develop the shot. But damn it, hurry up the development. He should be taking 2-3 three point shots a game right now.
