Three team deal (Bulls, Magic and Blazers)

According to hoopsworld, Brandon Bass is unhappy with the current situation in Orlando, wants more minutes and almost doesn’t speak with Van Gundy in these days (he didn't play nine games due to coaching decision). Portland tried to sign Bass last summer, but he felt that he would have more playing time with the Magic. But the things have changed. Portland desperately needs a big man and the Magic have him available, since they prefer to stick with Gortat. Instead of both teams making a deal, the Bulls could try to enter the deal offering Deng as bait. My idea is:

Bulls send: Deng and Salmons to Orlando

Bulls get: Matt Barnes, JJ Redick (both from Orlando), Steve Blake and Outlaw (from Portland)

Portland get: Brandon Bass and M. Pietrus

The Bulls would increase their chances in the 2010 FA because they would get expiring contracts. Orlando would get a potential future All-Star in Deng and a 6th man in Salmons, who could play behind Vince Carter (SG) and Deng (SF). Portland would get their much needed big man - Aldridge could play the C - and a SF with quality, that would have little chances of playing in Orlando with Deng and… (i admit it) I needed his money to approve this trade on ESPN trade machine). Plus, trading Blake, that could increase Bayless minutes

I think

The Blazers would be shooting themselves in the foot with this one.

How is Outlaw going to start for us

When he is out for most of the year? Also, we are getting nothing but cap relief. And when we get spurned again by every big FA because we have Benny the Bull at the airport greeting them then we’ll be even shittier.

Fine, start Barnes

We will have more money to offer to the FA and we would still have the players that really matter and that could attract LeBron, Wade and Bosh: I’m referring to Rose and Noah.

Jannero Pargo = Larry Hughes 2.0

The following 4 team deal works according to ESPN's trade machine

Miller, Pargo and Gray to Atlanta. Deng and Salmons to Toronto. Hinrich to Oklahoma City.
For: Joe Johnson, Chris Bosh, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

Rose, Johnson, Durant, Bosh, Noah.

If only the NBA worked like Trade Machine.
Chances of this trade happening: 0%
Chances of this team improving via trade by the deadline: 0.0001%

Who talked about improvement?

I only care about their contracts. I don’t give a fuck about Matt Barnes or JJ Redick. Clearly the Magic are better with Barnes at the 3 than with Deng. Oh, and Portland is better now wihtout big man’s. If you think the idea is stupid, just explain why or don’t post.

Ok, I agree

We could always take out Deng and Pietrus of the deal. Instead, Bulls could send only Salmons to the Magic and Gray to Portland; the Magic could send Bass to Portland; and Bulls could get Blake, Outlaw and Barnes

Yer i agree

This along with some of the other trade ideas, would be to hard and portland look like getting the bad end of the stick

Simpler Trade

Portland: Blake for Thomas
Orlando: Bass for Blake
Chicago: Thomas for Bass
No doubt Portland would do it. Orlando would consider it because Bass ain’t working out like they hoped and they may just want him off the books. Bulls would get a very strong pf with a very cheap 4 million dollar a year contract for the next couple of years whose also got some potential.

Possible

but TT contract over at the end of the year, how many years bass got?
