Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Now is the time to strike they need a center. Maybe try to move Miller and Kurt for Rudy and Outlaw.

Ya it doesn't give leave us with a lot of depth at Center, but who cares. We suck anyway. Let's dump Kirk and get Rudy.

Not Rudy,

but there would be a trade here – if Miller were not, as he is, practically crippled.

at least Portland plays slow

so it could mitigate things?

Plus apparently Brad plays his way into shape, or something. Or he’s just old now.

Or, he dogs it when there's no incentive to play hard.

Pretty much why Kings fans were so pissed at him last year.

The 2009 White Sox....like a 40 degree day.

Almost impossible to trade Brad, harder with Kirk

The Blazers have no big expiring deals, so trading Brad would mean leaving the 2010 hunt. Package him with Kirk, and that’s $19 million of salary, and the Blazers don’t have big contracts to move (besides Przybilla, who I doubt would get traded).

Maybe Tyrus and Salmons for Webster, Outlaw, Juwan Howard, and Pendergraph?
