Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

I like this paragraph below, as well as the insight he has about Salmons and what he needs to do to get back on track. Pippen usually has fluff articles and non-journalistic skills, but this article is good stuff IMO.

Teams that truly care about winning and getting better will turn it around. Everybody is talking about this situation needing change. At the end of the day, whether it’s a coaching change or a trade that is made, that doesn’t have an impact on what is happening on the basketball court. It doesn’t change what is expected out of the players. They still have to go against talented opponents and they still need to bring it night in and night out. The game and its challenges won’t all of a sudden become any easier with change. It’s still basketball and it comes down to effort on a consistent basis.

I always liked Pippen

He cares a lot more about the Bulls and Chicago than MJ did. MJ only seemed to care about the team, not the organization (I can’t blame him) or the city.

Pippen may only be doing this for the cash.

Isn’t he kinda broke these days?

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.

I agree with the more athleticism would help

i wish we still had Cedric Simmons..i would have liked to see if he could be a decent player with some minutes. Whenever he came in during garbage time he looks pretty solid.

How about wishing we still had Shannon Brown?

He’s a freak athlete.

Actually, a good coach

and more talent would definitely have an impact.

"What the Bulls need now are players that compete and fight no matter how tough things get."

I believe that sums up Joakim Noah. I really wish Tyrus wasn’t always in the doghouse because he really does cpmpete when he’s out there and play with an edge. They really have to step things up on the defensive end every single night to have a chance because they are so bad offensively.

Good article. I agree about Salmons, he needs to get the ball around the FT line so he can quickly slash. He’s getting the ball around the 3 pt line so he has to do a million jab steps and go far to get a good shot. Why aren’t there more back cuts and pinback screens?

We def. gave up to quick on Simmons(who could have saved us the need of wasting a pick on Gibson)…to me Simmons is basically Gibson…same type of player. We couldn’t even find time to try Shannon Brown who could have replaced Hinrich as the backup combo guard. Him and D Rose would have been an interchangeable super athletic backcourt. Also Byars would have been more useful than Pargo, at least he has some size and versatility to go along with the super streak shooting.

Byars

Deserved to make this team IMO. But yeah I don’t understand why the Bulls don’t try to get to the line more anyway especially since they are such an awful shooting team. Speaking of giving up on players too soon, I hope Tyrus gets consistent minutes when he comes back.
