The opposite of waiting for summer 2010....

Ok.  So like everyone else I am hoping and praying the bulls get a big time free agent this summer such as Wade, Johnson, Bosh, Amare, Boozer.  However, the bulls havent' had the best luck with free agents in past summers when they have had CAP space.  What happens if this summer the bulls let all these expiring contracts go without getting any players through trade or through free agency?? For this reason, I have decided to get together some moves that can happen now to improve the team for the upcoming years.  (Again, i have to proclaim that I want the bulls to clear even more CAP space for this summer to go after big time free agents!!!)

1.  Brad Miller for Chris Kaman, Craig Smith

2. John Salmons, Tyrus Thomas, and Jerome James for Michael Redd, 1st round pick

Lineup:

PG: Rose

SG: Redd

SF: Deng

PF: Noah

C: Kaman

Bench: Hinrich, Taj, Pargo, Craig Smith

Not a chance.

Do you think that the Clippers will actually trade Kaman for Miller. Why on earth would they do that? I don’t think the Bucks would pull the trigger on this deal either. They do need a serviceable SG and a good PF but Salmons is as serviceable as a hobbling Redd anyway and TT is not a good PF. Plus a 1st round pick. There is no chance any GM would get high enough to pull the trigger on these deals.

The Clippers

Are the Clippers. They know who they are. They are the other team on LA. Clearing cap space is useless for them as none of the major FA’s will go there in 2010. They do have too many bigs so trading Kaman would be a good idea for them but they would need to trade him for another quality player. Not miller.

They HAD too many bigs

Which is why they traded Zach Randolph. Marcus Camby’s deal expires which leaves them with Kaman and DeAndre Jordan at center. The way Kaman has played, why on earth would they dump him for Brad Miller?

Don't watch

If an organisation has so much contempt for its fans by being cheap bastards then don’t watch and it will help teach them (PaxDorf) that mediocrity won’t be tolerated by Bulls fans. I know its hard for loyal fans to just stop watching when they are struggling (the whole stick with it through good and bad) and when (if) the Bulls start winning again you will look like a bandwagon fan but that’s bullshit.
If your in a relationship and the woman and she’s a lying cheating whore would you stay with her? No.
There are too many teams in the NBA who are committed to profit first and winning second and your Chicago Bulls are one of them.
Management are using cheap tricks by making the Bulls look like their a team on the rise for the past 9 years. What a load of crap.
Sorry but I love to rant.

Why would Clippers take Miller for two productive players? They have just as much cap space with us.

Also I’m not a huge Redd fan especially with him turning 30 and having a serious knee injury.
