Von Wafer was released from his contract with Olympiakos. I think he's a chucker and had a fluke year, but our current team sucks.

Omer Asik out for two months with an injured collar bone.

I wanted Wafer in the off season.

The guy can score; he’d probably be our best three point shooter.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.

Damn, harsh words!
“He had a playing philosophy that didn’t allow him to make the adjustments needed,” head coach Panagiotis Giannakis explained on Saturday. “If somebody is not eager to try to change himself, then it is better for him and the club to part ways.”

I think he’d be a great pickup. Hopefully they’ll take Pargo in an exchange.

No way! that guy is awful!

You think Salmons is bad? I watched him on national TV and there is a reason he’s been released. He’s bad. He takes god awful bad shots. He’s clearly a delusional selfish basketball player who is out of work for a reason.

We're giving Lindsey Hunter consistent minutes

Why not take a no-risk shot on a 23 year old 3pt shooter?

by YaoPau on Dec 15, 2009 12:35 AM CST up reply actions

Well one, money. Of course thats their problem. They don't wanna spend money they wanna make a trade.

They need to be flexible. Two they want Derrick Rose to take those shots. If you bring in a ball hog you’re tampering with Rose’s development even more than VDN. He is a head case and the Bulls don’t need a head case on a bad team.

But hey you never know you could be right. I just remember watching him and thinking wow rick adelman wanted to strangle him.

Wafer is not a ball hog

He just doesn’t pass up open shots. That’s what we need. WE’re getting open looks. They just aren’t falling or Deng, Kirk, and Salmons are trying to dribble their ways into worse shots.

10 day contract

What the heck, get them through the next few home games with some sort of long distance threat

All your base are belong to Vinny.

Wafer is a chucker but at least he can shoot. Anything is better than what Salmons is giving. Also is he really a headcase, plenty of Americans don’t adjust well to Euro ball just like how some Euros can’t adjust to NBA.

I’d rather have Wafer than Pargo anyday.

Sign him to a 10-day deal...

watch VDN not give him a damn minute of burn and then he’ll light it up for the Spurs or someone in the playoffs.

Get him.

He’s like Pargo but younger, more athletic and can make at least 20% of his shots.

I don’t really trust the European leagues. I mean, how much did 2010 NBA ROY Jennings even play in Italy last year?

by smash! on Dec 15, 2009 6:26 PM CST reply actions

True

Not sure individual talents in young guys (esp Americans) are nutured in Euro leagues.

All your base are belong to Vinny.

I think Omer Asik deserves a nickname.

How about Oden Lite?

If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost. You can still call him vile names.
