Bulls management committed to staying with Del Negro thru tough time, and OT victory stops bleeding. His job is solid for now.

That seems a a little contradictory to committed management.
they will just do something after the season.

This is such bullshit.
If this team actually used methods based analysis and not results based analysis Vinny wouldn’t have even been coach on opening night this season. He can’t coach, and a shitty win over a bad Golden State team shouldn’t affect decision making. The team’s management is terrible. No way around it.

yeah but he wouldnt have ever been hired in the first place.
that’s the ridiculous part. beyond that, it’s all downhill and I honestly don’t think much of mid-season coaching changes… especially with this shitty, shotty roster.
A mid-season coaching change may not turn this team around,
but if does anything positive for Rose’s development, i.e. the new coach lighting a fire under his ass, then the more is more than worth it.

GS is also one of only 4 teams in the past decade to not pay the luxury tax once. The other three?
Clippers, Bobcats and, you guessed it…. Da Bulls.
Now, which one of those teams has been the most profitable franchise in professional basketball during that time period?

I got them from YaoPau.
I trust him to have researched it.
In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).
Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.
I just watched the game, I would have fired Vinny at the end of regulation.
They barely beat one of the worst franchises in pro sports, and that’s his job security? Enjoy that fuzzy feeling of a safe job while losing by 35 tonight.
The 2009 White Sox....like a 40 degree day.
They're brightest spot in the last decade+ is what?
The upset of Dallas? Uggh!(We can’t really talk, as we’ve only won one playoff series since MJ left). GS is a terrible franchise.

Considering where they play
the Bay Area should have a serious basketball club. I’d even think Stern would put the bay Area up there in in West meets East promotion.

I am more convinced than ever
that the Bulls will not enter the 2010 sweepstakes but, rather, try to trade their expiring contracts to teams that are struggling financially for one of their better players.
Because they will keep VDN until the end of the season.
They don’t believe any of the top 2010 free agents will leave their current team/sign with the Bulls.
By making trades between now and the trading deadline, they will know exactly what they have at the end of the season.
At that point if they have a good team they can relieve VDN and hire a better coach, if they come up dry they’ll just keep VDN through next year.
