Around SBN: Tiger Woods, Tony Romo Grouped Together At Pebble Beach

Celtics associate head coach Tom Thibodeau, once considered a leading candidate for the job Del Negro got, sat on press row.

KC

I think

it’s those tables behind the basket where the reports have their laptops set up.

is that sam smith i see

observing #7, basketball god?

thibodeau would logically be scouting, since they aren’t playing tonight. hardly seems fair. maybe they’re even all in town, waiting?

heh, if only he were taller, he'd get that ball!!!

(and yeah, it sure looks like smith)

In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).

Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.

He probably went back to Rivers and said

And you made me waste 3 hours scouting this team why?

While it's reasonable he'd just be there scouting

Still, it’d be weird for KC to include it as a separate note in the story if it was something in the norm.

We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look.

except KC's a douche at times...

…and a company mouthpiece at times, too. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone mentioned from the organization, “Hey, did you see Thibadeu scouting from press row? Weird he was there.”

The org is planting the seed in the minds of the fans that: A) they hear you; they know you want a new coach and B) we’re already thinking about it. If we don’t get rid of him this season, never fear, we’ll be on it this summer.

Well I think he was scouting but also like hey remember me..? I can coach.

Give me a call John. Call me. I think thats what they are doing. Waiting the season out and then they’ll problem interview Tom T. this summer. I’m sure he’s tops on the list which is just Lawrence Frank.
