I used to think he was older than he was b/c of his bald spot

I was 11 at the time and couldn’t imagine how he made it to the NBA.

I haven't seen him take many dumb shots - to me...

the funny thing is Derrick as a point guard wasn’t even expected to contribute for 2 years anyway, so he wins ROY, still has learning to do and get better. I’m not expecting him to be Paul or Williams yet. It’s all about expectations. I just want him to control the offense, score 17 to 20pts, dish out 7 -9 assists, and show growth. He’s improved in some areas and not in others.

No, because he's mentally soft.

The layups don’t help, but he plays like a JV scrimmaging with SV, as if he would like nothing more than to please his teammates. He’s too dumb to realize that this season is all about him. He plays like a pussy and goes through long stretches of piss-poor play(on offense, as he’s always bad on defense). This is our franchise player? He goes up for dunks, what, once a month? He plays soft, trying for the finesse layup every time instead of dunking it or going at the defenders chest.

im starting to believe that hunter and pargo are hurting

hinrich has been 0-12 since his return with 3+ turnovers. why is he getting so much playing time?? clearly he wasn’t ready to return. which strengthens my belief that hunter’s feet and pargo’s back/hip are hurting more than we believe.

by djphillie on Dec 11, 2009 8:08 PM CST reply actions

my point was that

as bad as hunter and pargo are, i couldn’t see them performing worse than hinrich’s 0-12 streak these last 2 games.

why i think they allowed him to return too early. clearly the injury is still affecting his play.

He's taking close range floaters and layups.

He’s missing gimmes with frequency this year.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.

Ellis, Curry and Watson are running down court faster than Rose when they have the ball

He’s walking with a limp, and he doesn’t seem as quick. I think he may have keen pains.

this timeout right here

is the reason VDN ends so many games without timeouts. They are down 4 – what does he want to talk about? Just call a fucking play
