Does anyone else find it strange that the 6'7" Scottie Pippen..

looks taller the the 6’9" Luol Deng???

According to DraftExpress's pre draft measurements,

Luol is 6"7 w/o shoes and 6"8 w/shoes. Unless he has grown since being drafted, which is a possibility as he was drafted at 19, I’m not sure where his 6"9 figure comes from.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.

his eyes are also looking up at Pippen.

Still not as funny as when that awesome BaB commenter told us Ben Gordon was 5'11

Because he measured him from across a mall.

How do you know he can coach? What has he ever done to demonstrate he would be a good coach?

As has been demonstrated time and again by many athletes turning coach after their playing careers, ability to play does not correlate with ability to coach in any way, shape, or form. I hate this whole situation with VDN as much for giving idiots to post longing for a coaching turn by Pippen or his like with absolutely no support as to why you want him to coach.

We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look.

those two have equal coaching credentials

and actually less than VDN had.

The collection of fragile egos that is the Chicago Bulls

couldn’t handle Skiles, who is merely blunt.

How do you think they’d hold up under a bona fide asshole like Pippen?

by drew gooden's facial growth on Dec 10, 2009 12:36 PM CST reply actions

they feared skiles at first.

Then they just quit on him.

Pip can player coach

He can likely get the ball in the hoop better than any other player right now.

All your base are belong to Vinny.

Not that I have anything against this post, but why is it being recced?

Are people reccing it because it’s funny or because they want Pippen to coach the team? I can’t figure it out, I’m dumb.
