Kudos Bulls. You've surprised early.

I know it's only 6 games in but the Bulls are looking great(except offensively but that should come). I mean like some of you I miss BG some he filled a need while he was here, but man our defense is even more impressive than the year we swept Miami. Lol I refuse to VDN, Player development, and PaxGarDorf any credit for this start but they may deserve a little. Given that our defense(with Tyrus back and playing level headed which is how he plays more towards the end of the season) is looking like a lock for top 5 defensive fg%. Minus BG and the minutes Jack'em Pargo plays we can night in and night out match up with most teams because A: The "top heavy" Luol Deng is playing Lock Down right now he's crashing the boards he's guarding the no. 1 or 2 scorer every night ( Fish is just as impressive so far his length is a nightmare pure shooters and Noah and TT are our nightmares for all slashers not named D-Wade,KB 24). On another quick note I hope we can figure out how to keep TT around but as a bench player if he doesn't explode when he returns I think his realistic role for this team minus him being a superstar, is that Lamar Odom type of 6th man( You know he does alot of things good, nothing really great) and in his limited time a sf he guarded his man well. Granted our offense sucks right now I really feel that the way our D is we will gain more and more confidence as Rose condition builds. I feel if we can get our defensive image up too very good or even great it will be a piece of cake to will in a Ufa but I dont think It will be a Stat/LbJ/ or Bosh that comes I think our No. 1 target as of now is more like Joe Johnson whom still is a great fit with his shooting and length. I want to ask some you cap experts If it is possible to trade for a PF b4 the deadline, sign Ufa Joe John/D-Wade, and keep TT? I just want to know if that is possible if we go into the cap. I'll keep this one kinda of brief and leave with this... Bulls fans stop being so short with this team, becuase no matter how bad the coach and organization is they will continue to play hard and they are not giving up to anyone. So we should stop giving up on them ala preseason Deng, rookie yr Noah, anytime Pargo. We really need the best from everyone THIS YEAR. I can't wait for trade season. And don't forget Ty is 22 and still has plenty of time to bud as a star even if it isn't for the bulls any one remembers Jermaine O'neal in Portland? Tyrus has more potential than that. PS Kirk is playing amazing too minus the shooting. Noah's a Beast and is as far along offensively as D12 so far D12 is just pure force. Laters Bull watchers.

difference between lamar odom and tyrus.

odom is benched in favor of gasol, pau. tyrus would be playing behind taj. hard to overstate that difference.

Typing with just the thumbs?

"Then you need a center so if the ball gets stuck between the rim and backboard he can reach up and knock it loose instead of having to spend 15 minutes trying to hit it with a broom stick." – Sam Smith

Noah is beasting so far, 11/11. I couldn’t ask for more. If he keeps this up, he will be a perennial backup Allstar candidate.

Deng is doing well…I want him to get up to 18/20 pts…but I am somewhat satisfied and he is grabbing all kinds of boards.

Kirk needs to improve his shooting…he’s shooting 35% that will not cut it. We need him to pitch in 14 pts and shoot at least 39% from 3.

Salmons looks like he’s ready to turn it around, another guy we need to step up.

I’m disappointed in D Rose, his passing isn’t getting better…4 assists compared to 7 turnovers is bad. His D isn’t much better than last year…I know he’s injured but he looks like he regressed. I don’t see him being an Allstar til maybe his 4th year.

I really wish Taj would only get 15 minutes of burn, isn’t there any halfway decent veteran PF that could fill in for a few months…

Lol sorry you guys for some of the spelling/grammar errors I was trying to catch the bears game. Not that the bears stunk it up I see the errors. Rose will be fine He play’s big in big moments which is invaluable, it just seems that he’s pressing to hard to make up for some lost time but it will come.

I fully agree I was assuming that we acquire a Back to the Basket type PF within the next year or other it won’t matter anyways

-other wise.

TT would be great backing up Bosh or even Boozer(I don’t like the Boozer trade Idea’s because there would some drop off defensively, and he doesn’t always play hard any more)

But for that matter Taj will not be bad either as a back to a good pf. Doesn’t it almost seem like we are in a win/win situation? Which is very very rare for the bulls.

There are no more back to the basket PFs…the only one that is left is Brand and he currently sucks.

Almost all PFs are face-up PFs…the back to the basket game is pretty much obsolete for the most part.
