Its bullshit that he didn't start before Mike Conley.

I think he is right to be angry about that. Its not like he went to the hornets and bitched about being behind Chris Paul.

If we aren't careful, the leanness we now feel will be the starvation of those we serve.

Wow this soon though??? I don’t really understand his position of course so can’t really relate. But I would of thought it’d take a bit longer at least. Wouldn’t it have been cool to show some of those young players the ropes.
I actually kind of feel like he was one of those guys who had a shadow cast over him by MJs legacy and thats part of the reason he can’t settle for this. I hope he can find some kind of happiness at least.

You'd think they would have talked together about his role during contract negotiations.

Did he think he could talk them into changing their minds later or something?
