[Big news, as while Hinrich has his issues, the dropoff between him and Pargo/Hunter is beyond steep. -ed.]

He is questionable for Monday's game, but the good news is that the injury (which is not the same thumb that he had surgery on last season) is not serious.

McGraw . . . .
The Bulls got some encouraging news about Kirk Hinrich’s left thumb injury. An MRI showed that it’s a sprain and not a torn ligament.

Maybe that’s why his shooting has been off!

Good news though.

I don’t really have a problem with Hinrich, I think he is an asset to a properly constructed team. The problem that we currently have seems to be the makeup and poor coaching of this roster that is really showing the flaws and leaks in each player.

It’s a little tougher for Rose to drive, Miller’s shot isn’t falling, he looks a step slower (impossible!), Salmons is too slow to play the 2 so far and hasn’t been in rhythm, Gibson is playing too many minutes to look good any longer and we have Pargo to further disrupt the offense. All of that combined leaves us looking terrible in some of these games.

A good value trade or two, getting Tyrus back healthy along with Hinrich and Rose asserting himself a bit more should lead to 5-7 playoff spot and a positive outlook for next year, especially if we make it into the 2nd round.

IDK About This Site

But the Tribune site said that Kirk will see a specialist on Monday, and Del Negro was saying that the Bulls were waiting to see if they need to bring anyone else until after the evaluation by the specialist.

Kirk Hinrich is a pussy!

Why won’t he play through this sprain? Man, he’s such a wuss. It’s just a little sprain. Deal with it! You’re being paid millions of dollars!!!
