"It's great playing out here," Rose said after Wednesday's practice. "I love playing out here. Besides Chicago, I like to play out here all the time. You got great weather. If you want to do something you can go eat anywhere. Shop anywhere. Get rest. People really don't care who you are out here because you have some people that are bigger than you out here. So, they don't really care about who you are. They just let you be."
So you're too big for Chicago? Actor? Mumbles.

Rose has stated multiple times how much he loves LA. He also trains out there during the summer.
I imagine we’ll be hearing some Rose to LA rumors, if the Bulls don’t become contenders, much like what happened with LeBron and NYC.

Rose didn't get a 70 million dollar shoe concert right out of high school
He is going to go to who will offer him the most money.
Jerry Buss will offer him a max deal
while Reinsdorf is making Derrick fly to Arizona to meet him :)

What is a "shoe concert"?

hahaha
it’s only fair given the hyperventilating anytime Wade mentions his hometown.

the more interesting thing to me is that Derrick always mentions how no one knows him
in El Lay and they just him alone. He must be worn out already on getting mobbed every time he steps outside of his home when he’s in Chicago.

way to go on the Bulls for finding yet another NBA player who hates the spotlight!

Yeah, the Bulls are terrible at finding players with swagger. Except Noah. Man, he rules.

the Bulls org is so anti-swag
thats why they signed Kirk and Deng and let Gordon go.

I don’t want to watch Sportscenter in 5 years and have the anchors debate for 30 minutes whether Derrick Rose can play jai alai.
The 2009 White Sox....like a 40 degree day.

Wasn't that one of the 4 games on Atari Pong?
whether Derrick Rose can play jai alai.

And thomas. I think he wants to be the man...
…I mean, granted, he’s not good at doing interviews and all that, and his confidence is shaky, but I think he does have a swagger when others are believing in him. Unlike Rose, who, when his coach wants him to shoot, he wants to pass. I think Thomas would say, “OKAY!!!”
In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).
Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.
