Your thought on a GS-Chi Ellis A-R for Kirk TT trade dreams

Would you guys like a trade for Ellis and Randolph for a Kirk and a tyrus once he comes back? Would that work cap wise?

Bulls

Rose - Ellis

Salmons - Ellis

Deng-Salmons-Randolph

Randolph-TAJ-JJ(lol)

Super Noah( I like that as his nickname too like super nova)-B52

Granted We lose Kirk's D put we get a more consistent shooter in Ellis who wants out of GS and that transition scorer that will take tons of pressure of Rose scoring wise he could fit similar to how Crawford's playing in ATL and better yet which is more the bulls style when it comes to trades, is Ellis gives a some relief if we don't get a Wade or Johnson and allows us to focus on a BIG MAN and if we do get a wade bosh our guards would be considered at least the Fastest in the league, and randolph as you guy wrote earlier solves the TT cap issues this offseason and plays very similar to TT, It also takes away the possibility of Salmons opting out and us not have a 2 guard.

Also think that move makes us more attractive to a up tempo pf like Bosh.

Let me know what you guys think and also if that trade heads up doesn't let me know some of the combinations that would.

PS I think GS would like this trade because Kirk would help curry and let curry play more off ball and TT and A Randolph are similar. Better yet kirk won't complain even in Nellie ball

I don't think they give up Randolph either

Sure, Nellie has given up on him, but he’ll be out of the league before Randolph, who’s still on a rookie deal.

Ellis is getting the money that we didn’t wanna give BG. Why would we trade for a short SG can’t really shoot and give him 11 million?

Ellis is good but he is really only good at getting into the lane and his defense is just as bad as Ben’s. This trade is pointless, I like Randolph but the Warriors aren’t so dumb as to give up on him already.

I don't see any logic for Ellis on this team

And I’m also not a big believer in Randolph. I’m not a big Believer in Ellis either.

And it doesn’t help us clear cap room. So there’s really no rationale for doing it.

I think I'd rather

Go after Kevin Martin….dangle Kirk add in a pick perhaps and nab Kevin Martin.

Then resign Tyrus, keep Salmons and run with it.

Kevin Martin is one of the best shooter’s in the entire game. BG was better at creating his shot, but Martin might be a better shooter of the two….taller, and could be more willing.

Plus with the surge of Noah, having a shooting shooting guard would be awesome.
Have Salmons as the super 6th man SF/SG and we’d be rolling.

I like Ellis and am intrigued by Randolph (new Tyrus), but I think Ellis and Rose are a retread to what we had last year, except now have to small but quick slashers when we need a shooter…..plus I don’t know if Randolph > Thomas and I don’t know if Randolph is coachable, despite how trendy it is to be anti Nellie at the moment….and Ellis’s contract is big, extending longer than Martin, and I’m not sure if he’s better than Martin anyway….
