getting fouled repeatedly for an 11 minute span, then afterwards wondering what the hell just happened.
when i was a kid i thought "pulling out all the stops" originally referred to taking out all stop signs
on the road so drivers could just speed around without tarry. i cant say i blame myself for the error— who the hell would imagine people around the 21st century regularly using pipe organ metaphors.
