Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Derrick Rose says: "Not yet," he said after the Bulls shootaround Tuesday morning. "I still haven't been feeling aggressive yet, but you'll probably see it in [Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings]. I'm going to come out and just try to fight and be way, way more aggressive."

That and maybe Salmons will get that Sacramento feel again?

He noted after:

“And then the next time you’ll see me being aggressive is the next time I go up against Spencer Hawes (belly laugh).”

so

Is he trying to say he has not felt like being aggressive or that his ankle has held him back. Hopefully its the latter

I’m going to come out and just try to fight and be way, way more aggressive

Sounds like someone watched the Brandon Jennings game

What does that even mean?

There’s a saying “If you have to tell people that you’re ______, then you’re not.” Or something along those lines.
I hope what he’s saying is “Vinny is a dumbass and has been holding me back since day 1, but he seems to have finally pulled his head out of his ass and has given me free reign.” Now that I can live with.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

He attacked. He just couldn't throw the ball in the ocean.

1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

there were a few times you could tell he wanted to take it or shoot

but he just couldn’t get anything going. he looked disgusted, and even had his head hung after the game it looked like (unless he was winded). since we all know Derrick Rose didn’t just get terrible at basketball, i think the ankle/conditioning are still valid. throughout last night’s game i just kept thinking it might be time to shut him down. it seems like guys have an easy time blocking him this year when he takes it in, and i’d think that’s due to a lack of explosiveness and less ups. you would have thought Beno Udrih was a lockdown defender if last night was the only time you’ve seen him.

imo

he did look a little better, he just wasn’t hitting much.

(he also had the most FTA he's had this season)

I missed the game again does he seem a step slower a bit though? There may still be a slight difference physically.
