Maybe if 2010 free agency does not go well the Bulls could get a major coaching upgrade...

The New York way

Is also to turn on your team or players, or coach now that Isaiah has set a low bar.

Bulls are concentrating on defense now — changing to D’Antoni’s offense only system is the next logical illogical move by Bulls team management (now that D’Antoni’s asking price is surely to be reduced after a 1-9 start to season, a franchise worst).

All your base are belong to Vinny.

You wonder though if some bridges have been burned.

Looking back he should have taken the Bulls job but he took the money and the chance to coach LeBron. I doubt JR wants anything to do with him.

True. I'm at a loss

When trying to imagine what will be looked for in the next Bulls coach. Another newbie with a cheap payroll? Someone to develop the kids? A salty veteran commanding a high salary? A salty veteran who failed in other organizations who can be had on the cheap?

VDN for life? Once you contract it, it never goes away?

All your base are belong to Vinny.

I think it really depends on their 2010 outcome...

I don’t think VDN is part of the plan. I think they hired him because he was cheap and someone who would have patience with their younger players like Noah, Rose and Tyrus. They knew he wouldn’t bail on them like Skiles.

Basically I believe that VDN is more or less a baby sitter until they can land a stud.

If they get a big time player in 2010 I think they will spend the money for a coach.

yep, JR praises personal vendettas over being good

People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett

Bulls fans blame Mike D'Antoni for Vinny Del Negro

At least we can both blame him for something, right?
