That's a nice pick up for the Bobcats
Now if they could just not play Flip Murray at all they might win.

That's a horrible deal for the Bobcats. They took on longer term deals and Jackson is crap.

They win the talent component on this trade.
Jackson is a much better player than Vlad or Bell…Certainly lose on the contract end of things…

Bell actually plays defense (which they need since their backcourt is Monta and Curry, both who play no D)
and Bell is a very good shooter. Vlad is garbage, but Acie Law is nothing to really write home about either.

Couldn't the Bulls find a way to get into this trade and steal Bell?
I don’t know, maybe offer Salmons to GS and get Raja Bell… He can shoot the 3 and plays nice D

salmons for raja bell makes sense on many levels…he is a good 3 pt shooter and defender….or at least has that reputation, which right now salmons doesnt have….although if raja bell was on the trade block i wish the bulls went for him themselves…..
also salmons has a 2 year contract (why would he opt out now) while bell has just a 1 year contract (he gone at the end of the season)….damn…..i hope we can get him…helps this team in many ways….

My first though was"Who in the right mind wants Stephen Jackson?"
Then I remembered that Larry Brown is the coach, and it all made sense.
"Rest satisified with doing well and leave others to talk of you as they please"
The season is three weeks old, and they hadn't traded anyone yet
Larry was probably getting kind of antsy.
