"Fake NBA trade: Noah, Deng + a top-7 protected 2010 No. 1 pick for Bosh. Which team says no?"

I think its an interesting idea, but Noah's dominance makes me think twice. Who blinks on this one?

Bosh isn't that good. I wouldn't trade Deng AND Noah for him AND a pick for him.

1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

Exactly.

Why trade for him when you could sign him after the season? Just because his current team could offer slightly more money?

Got to give something to get something

Would you do it for Wade? For Stat? For anyone?

Or are Noah/Deng now THAT good? Or Bosh that iffy?

Bosh's numbers won't remain this high,

as he’s shooting 14.3 free throws per game. The big man shooting the next most FT’s? Amare, with 7.4. Odds are that Bosh’s numbers sink as do his FTA’s, and he reverts back to the measly 22-24 ppg range.

What’s great about Joakim is how efficient he is, as he scores in double digits without forcing any shots or having any plays run for him. Of course, Bosh would be a reliable one-on-one scorer who could get easy buckets late in games, but Joakim is a tougher, better defender and a superior rebounder.

Metal sharpens metal.

Completely agree with everyone.

I just thought it was interesting and worthy of discussion and I wanted to try and gauge BAB’s value of Noah. Personally, I love Joakim and what he does for this team. He works hard (now) and outside of Howard is there a Center you would rather have? Lets say we get Bosh this summer or this year (I think Deng, Tyrus and a 1st would be more fair). Pairing Noah with Bosh would be an amazing combination.

If we aren't careful, the leanness we now feel will be the starvation of those we serve.

Would def have to think about it

Plus, we would still have a chunk of change left over for next year, since Deng’s contract is off the books and we can go over the tax to sign Bosh….ugh, nevermind. Noah, would be the perfect big to compliement Bosh. Sigh. Deng+Tyrus+Pick would have been ideal.

Out coaching VDN, so easy a cave man could do it.

I agree

The very thing that really interests me about Bosh is playing him next to Noah. I think that having those two next to eachother would be incredible. Noah and Deng together just feels like too much. I’d rather wait out free agency

Deng and a pick..fine. Even Deng and tyrus…fine

Deng and Noah and a pick is way too much. Bosh is a star but not a superstar that going to really take you places. Who is our center, who is our SF. Bosh isn’t enough to replace quality starters at two key positions…
