"As soon as I saw the flight of the ball, I knew it was good," Billups said. "Then, I was sitting and laughing. Not so much about the shot, but looking at their reaction. They were dancing and jumping around like they had just made the Sweet 16. The longer it took, the better I felt. It was a great ending."
Chauncey Billups on the game winning shot that didn't count.
Damn, I always liked Chauncey, but that's a pretty dick thing to say.

I seem to remember LBJ and Wade last second shots having that reaction during the season.
He’s only cocky because they got the refs call.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

Right?
It wasn’t your garden variety game winner either. Had it counted it would have been a miraculous play. I don’t see what was so bad about the reaction.

Hmmm
I remember reading this yeeeaaaaah Iunno what hes talking about. I remember the Pistons when they were getting Swept by the next and were up and coming. I remember one game vs the Nets in the regular season where they were beating them so bad it was about to be a record low for points scored. The Pistons were celebrating while the game was going on.
Don’t see much point in him saying it. Not to play psycho analyst but I think hes envious of the Bulls youth honestly. (and posturing like a contender I still think the Mavs are taking that 3 spot)
