Ok, let's take a breath... Salmons will get out of this slump
I was a BG fan and worried about Salmons as a starter. But ok, BG used to have a bad start with Bulls every single season so I will wait a little more

the rule book says you can't catch and shoot with .03
so basically it was the time clock guys fault?
We held a team that averages 109ppg
to 90 points. At least there’s hope for the future.

Cheer up everybody. There's a lot to look forward to. Just think
In a couple of days we get to watch Lovie’s Bears bring us out of the dumps.
If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost. You can still call him vile names.

and demonstrate that there are worse coaches than our cousin Vinny.

Brad got it off in time. The Bulls must protest:

1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

I can show a picture of Miller after the game was over too
It sucks, and it was close, but its over.
It's clearly out of his hands and the lights not lit up. I mean what more is there? The Bulls have
48 hours to protest and they should.

Would Stern ever overturn a call like this?
They never admit when refs screw up. No way do they change the outcome of the game, right?
Actually
Hawks-Heat from a few years ago would beg to differ. They forced the last minute of the game to be replayed, and that was a 6-point margin of victory. It didn’t change the outcome, but if they were willing to do it for that, I am sure they would be willing to at least consider it for this.
Now whether Gar and Vinny would bother to protest is another story. My guess, no.

how is it that far out of his hands?
all the replays it was barely out of his hands when the lights were on…
"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"
correct me if i'm wrong
but would the other back board be lit up if the game is over?
i would think so

how long did the refs take to review it?
Section III—Replay Review Process
a. All replay reviews would be conducted by the officials as a crew after gathering as much information as possible. In cases of conflict, the crew chief would make the final decision.
The crew shall have a maximum of two minutes to review the video, and, following that, make a ruling. The officials would be given a reasonable amount of additional time beyond two minutes for review of flagrant fouls/penalty 2 and player altercations.c. If the replay system is not working, the crew chief will use the nearest courtside TV production available.
d. The call made by the game officials during play would be reversed only when the replay provides the officials with "clear and conclusive" visual evidence to do so.
We got fucked.

I love how they just ran away after they made the call.
Like, fuck you thanks for paying all that money have fun in traffic I have a plane to catch.
The best part was
Arena security escorting them away after they made the call.

.3 or less has to be a tip-in. That’s been the rule since Trent Tucker.
Can someone confirm if this was changed? Those refs are idiots. So are the Nuggets for not bringing that up.
This is wrong - from the rulebook.
“The game clock must show :00.3 or more in order for a player to secure possession of the ball on a rebound or throw-in to attempt a field goal. Instant replay shall be utilized if the basket is successful on this type of play and the clock runs to 0:00.
The only type of field goal which may be scored if the game clock is at :00.2 or :00.1 is a "tip-in" or "high lob.""
I don't believe they should have
they spent too much time on it and there wasn’t clear and conclusive evidence the ball was still in his hand.
We need to trade Hinrich
This isn’t because he had one bad game, but because we can get two helpful players for the same price we’re paying him. Just ain’t worth keeping him around. Plus we need to do it while other teams still think he’s a starting caliber player
"That's a spicy meatball-a!" - Vinny Del Negro

The player we really need to dump is Salmons. He's rubbish as a two guard and Deng is awesome.
Also, if Salmons doesn’t opt out (increasingly likely given his shit play), then the Bulls don’t have max cap space.

this loss should ignite passion in the bulls
and isnt it sad, the one year these sorry ass refs decide to put in replay, the bulls get screwed by it. Yes, we were screwed out of a W tonight, the call on the floor should stand, but what can you do??? Maybe we get the next call, when its more important, like in a playoff game or something meaningful, be optimistic, lord knows im trying to be

this is a glass half full glass half empty argument
but the fact of the matter is… we shouldn’t seetle for the loss jsut because we came close. We won the game. By the rules and everything. If the Bulls dont appeal I have lost a huge passion for the game. NBA refs are corrupt and terrible.
come on
we were good defensively, but we couldnt put the ball in the hole with nobody guarding us…so u can blame the refs at the end, and i agree we win that game, but if they would simply have made their freethrows and hit their open J’s. case closed, no need for instant replay of shit, we win

In this same game they are talking about the AWESOME D that Nocioni is playing on Durant (which is honestly debatable)… Honestly though, I’m just glad both of them are gone.

“I always thought 0.3 seconds was enough to get a shot off,” a dejected Noah said. “And the way Brad threw it up — he didn’t follow through or anything — I thought it was definitely good. Even looking at the replay, how could you overrule it? There definitely wasn’t enough evidence.”

I wonder if we had a coach with a little more sway this might have turned out differently.
Seriously, it was the home crowd, they called it on the court… Vinny should have been whispering sweet nothings into their ears while they watch the playback. Or at least been all “can we roll it back to where Deng got intentionally tripped…”

he yet did again, can’t remember when he took it, i think i somewhere in the 4th qrt and kirk just got the ball on a steal and we’re on a runn like a 7-0 run and he takes a time out. Your offense is gelling and d is looking good, why the hell u take a time out.
