Deng
is doing a great job on Carmelo tonight. Carmelo had a 1 on 1 a short while ago and didn’t even try to drive. He just put his back to Deng and waited for his team to arrive. I love the help defense on the few teams he did get to the paint.
wow
it seems like rose scored more than 6 points thus far
Set Rose up on that one

Salmons with the staring contest
and the 3-pointer nothin but net!
You're my assistant! You're supposed to back me up and go get me juiceboxes whenever I want. Now go get me a juicebox!
Salmons can only
catch and shoot from the corner, I guess
then he should shoot from the corner more often

Another foul by the Rising Taj :(
"Then you need a center so if the ball gets stuck between the rim and backboard he can reach up and knock it loose instead of having to spend 15 minutes trying to hit it with a broom stick." – Sam Smith
Everyone says Taj knows what he is doing
but my eyes tell me no.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
I think we can now look back on Swirsky and North talking about how freaking great Taj is after a few exhibition games and laugh
The fact that he’s starting on the Bulls is just ridiculous.
by hitlesswonder on Nov 10, 2009 8:42 PM CST up reply actions
My eyes tell me yes
+/- so far
J. Salmons G 28:19 +4
D. Rose G 25:46 +9
J. Noah C 30:40 5 doesn’t tell you everything, but when one guy stands out from the pack like that, it is significant. He’s definitely not hurting the team out there.
L. Deng F 28:53 +6
T. Gibson F 21:25 +19
B. Miller 11:39 -23 0
K. Hinrich 11:23 -18
J. Pargo 5:35 -13
Obviously single game +/
"jumper from the top of the key"
That’s called a 3-pointer, Neil.
I support the Tornado Release ... and Young Bucks.
Just think of when he was doing radio and no one could fact check him.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
Oh no Miller and Hinrich in
Taj and Deng out. Hopefully the Bulls don’t fall too far behind.
He's worse against fast teams like Denver.
He’s the slowest moving thing on the floor.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
lol
He just called Miler Salmons.
If nothing else this game is entertaining for that.

just saw..
noah is 5..that is why i hate +/
Noah played a lot of minutes tonight including ones with the stinkier players. That effects his +/-.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
yeah i understand it..
but it just isn’t a good gauge of how effective he has been this game is all..
That is why people still need to watch the game
and not look at the +/- like you would rebounds or pts. Unfortunately there are people who use +/- as a short cut.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
If Rose is gonna suck, then we're gonna lose. Simple.

Yeah, that push/shove shot wasn't the best idea.
Noah’s volleyball set shot would have been best. Still, who knows if it would have gone it had he tried a different form. With the shot he took he didn’t have to take too much time catching it and getting it settled. He just shoved it toward the basket.

yikes.....we're in trouble 'cause I sense a lot of close game in our future

Oh I don't think so
The Bulls offense blows. It’s bottlenecked by the quality of the shooters not the defense.

No. I think most of our games will be close. Blow outs maybe to Lakers or Celtics
We can play with the rest.
And D Rose only went to the line once in 39 minutes. I hate the nba clowns who pose as officials.

None of those guys other than Noah
took any shots close to the basket. That was one thing that wasn’t the official’s fault.
Meh, Rose took nothing but jumpshots until the 4th.
The 2009 White Sox....like a 40 degree day.

The fans did pay for parking and SHIT tonight. The refs delivered a truckload of crap.

Heads up play for Joakim Noah having
the fastest timeout in the history of the world
You can’t teach that.
You guys do know Toronto blows, right? They are 3-4 and give up 111 points a game.
If we lose by 30, I’ll eat my _________ .
They're a bad match up for the Bulls
I’m ready to see a bunch of weak closeouts on 3 pt shots.
And the Bulls don’t have the offense to punish bad D

Kirk, You Idiot!!!
Why would you foul Billups and put him on the line when you know the score is tied.
I am nobody, so this is what I am
Did you watch the game?
Noah blew his assignment, and Billups had a clear path to the basket. The foul was the only reason they were down 1 at the end instead of 2.
You are wrong
Noah went up to cover the pick and roll
Kirk allowed Billups to go Right, his strong hand, for the love of God, with less than 3 seconds to play
You don't need to worry about covering Nene out there with that little time left
If he wants to take an outside shot, you let him. Noah needs to be protecting the basket there (especially since he was our only big man on the court).
Noah did miss his assignment. Still doesn't excuse Kurt for giving up a blow
by on the last play of the game.

I agree, they both screwed up there
It’s a shame, because the Bulls played a hell of a game defensively.
Kirk shouldn't have let Billups blow by him in the first place. Then he wouldn't have had to reach.

Better Question,
Have you ever watched Basketball before (IamClassic)?
Green and Gold / Black and White
He had an open layup.
He should have tripped him. Refs can’t see trips…

Or gone for the ball and hit him in the head instead.
Like some of the basketball greats do.

Kirk almost got all ball which would have been a great play.

If we could somehow get a guy like Amare or Boozer
then trade for a shooting guard that can actually shoot, this time might be able to do some things, but until then there will be a lot of nights like this

I just can't believe
that the refs would overturn the initial call (it’s good) when the videotape has no perfect angle to overturn it.
Hopefully the Bulls use this to fuel them tomorrow and the next time they play Denver, now if only we could shoot…
If you want to crown em...
This team is finaly in position to make a big move
If something major doesn’t happen to take us to the next level by the start of next season I’m turning in my Bulls fan card.

you know what?
Billups was going to get blocked by Rose on the weak side had Kirk not fouled Billups.
Yea, it looked like there was a play to be made there. F Kurt!

I love coming back here to read the game threads and everyone's raw reactions
When Kirk fouled, everybody was like: “NOOO! it’s over.” “F Kirk!”
When Brad shove the ball in: “Holy shit!!” “Braaaaadddd!!”
When the call was overturned: “stupid refs” “IT WAS GOOD!”
"You can't give up hope just because it's hopeless! You gotta hope even more, and cover your ears and go 'bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla!'"
its really amazing
every1 just seems to know so much and what they would do or change…but its all fun and games….I just get upset when a guy like hinrich whos been there from jumpstreet makes a few bad plays, or misses a few three’s and every1 is like fuck kirk, trade kirk….i mena come on, have some resemblance of loyalty,,,pargo fucks up, yea cus him out, call for his head on a platter, but jeez, kirks been there doing his thing for an undersized, inconsistent team, give the guy an inch of slack will ya!!!!!!

This game will def ignite some passion from the bulls. atleast thats what im hoping for
and isnt it sad, the one year these sorry ass refs decide to put in replay, the bulls get screwed by it. Yes, we were screwed out of a W tonight, the call on the floor should stand, but what can you do??? Maybe we get the next call, when its more important, like in a playoff game or something meaningful, be optimistic, lord knows im trying to be
