I know it's heresy, but Rose just isn't any better than Chalmers is

He’s passive with and without the ball, makes lazy passes, has a loose dribble, and still isn’t any good on D. Arroyo was lighting him up.

He has a world of talent athletically and good vision. I blame the coaching as well as Derrick. They run on offensive “scheme” in which Derrick brings the ball up and that’s about all he does. But the lazy passes and unwillingness to fight through screens are all on Ros.e

by hitlesswonder on Nov 1, 2009 5:59 PM CST reply actions

He missed most of preseason and has an injury.

I wouldn’t take that excuse from a veteran player, but he is a young guy who lost his SG from last year and is adjusting to Deng and the new stuff they’re trying to run with him. I’ll be more worried in a few months if this keeps up.

i had comcast cable

we only got the basic plan, after about a week we wanted to install the cable into different rooms (mainly the study) so we called the cable guy, my uncle was over at the time and talked to the dude and asked him about taking off the filter, the guy was like i cant do it, so my uncle goes well if one was to take it off how would it work…the guy explained it to my uncle, and my uncle took it off a few days later….

At the time i cant remember if i got comcast sportsnet, but i didnt get espn….after the filter was off we got the normal cable channels, from espn 1 and 2 plus fx tbs tnt usa cartoon network disney…etc…..

Fast forward 4 years, to a month ago, the lawn mower guy had cut our main cable wire, we called in a comcast dude to fix it, he did and then told us how he noticed the filter was off…i play dumb, he goes oh its no big deal cuz since comcast went digital they will be sending a digiital signal so the channels on your plan are the only ones you will get…i asked him what channels id lose specifically, and he didnt know

A week later alot of the channels are gone, but comcast sports is still there and so is espn, tnt is gone…i was fine with that…

Then a few days ago all the channels dissapear that are greater than 26…..the only real cable channel i now have is the tv guide channel (wtf!) Its so gay!

Sorry for the long story….

Chicagoans are used to pathetic announcers.

When you listen to Ron Santo or Hawk Harrelson for 5 months, it kind of numbs you.

Helps that both of them are in the game…

They paid him

expecting he’d be as good as his best year as well as add to his game. Just getting back to the point he can stay healthy a season and be a starter is still falling short of that. Who cares about the injury. I’ll change my opinion on him when he does become that 70 million dollar man. He has to do more than he has ever done or otherwise he is just taking up a bunch of salary on a team who is scrambling to find room to get an actual star player.
