Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

For all you got-a-link BaBers, apparently you can now get seven teams (rather than the whole league) in an NBA League Pass for broadband for $89.95 (early bird pricing).

Not sure why you can't choose just ONE team to purchase, but hey, it's the NBA and the cable industry we're talking about here.

Hmm, which teams would I pick...

Aside from the Bulls (who would be blacked out for me)…

Cleveland
Boston
LA Lakers
San Antonio
Orlando

Portland
New Orleans
Oklahoma City

Hmm…1 too many.

I'd recommend knocking off Cleveland, Boston, or LA.

They are on national tv so much you aren’t gaining that much from the broad band. I get NBA broadband free with the League Pass package I have through direct TV…. maybe I should finally activate my account.

good luck with the activation, quiet one.

though direct will probably be easy peasy, unlike dish.

i wanna know what happens if the fans vote to see the bulls and rose every tuesday on nbatv. do they suddenly get blocked as national games then?

the name of the team is The DIAMONDBACKS
