Thomas wouldn't have been in Louisiana would he?

Oh well, not Tyrus
Didn’t think so, but it never hurts to throw out salacious speculation, does it? :)

The Celtics are hurting financially?
Wow, the NBA is really fucked if not even the freakin’ Celtics can make money. Other than the Lakers, Bulls, and Knicks, do any teams actually make money? Probably the Clippers do just because they usually have low payrolls, but there are a lot of teams in trouble.

I kind of doubt it
$83M in salary. Plus another $13M in luxury tax is hefty, but Forbes said in 07-08 they made $20M “net of revenue sharing”.
My guess is net means “after the tax is taken out”, so they’re probably doing pretty well. Even if we’re talking about only $7M in operating income (assuming operating income hasn’t completely tanked), they’re still doing better than half the teams in the league and turning a buck.

I have to make better decisions on how I choose my friends.
Yeah, no kidding.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
