Come to think of it, that may just be because the table itself is white

That’s actually a great strategy for making sure pictures of you with drugs aren’t taken – just get a table that’s the same color as the drugs, so they’re camouflaged.. Maybe Beasley learned that in rehab.

seriously,

if that was a team event – which the heat claim – then Beasley isn’t particularly popular on the Heat. Which we already knew.

I hope he remembered to drop the anchor.

actually I hope he forgot to drop the anchor.

I've got this thing and it's fucking golden!

Maybe he'll take the Noah route.

Joakim got busted for weed and then was seen floating around with some juicy topless broad. It would be naive of us to assume all Noah has used is weed, so are Noah and Beasley so diff? Hopefully he’ll get himself straightened out and make something out of his considerable talent.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

Is that Beasly? LOL...lay off him.

The boy is only 20 or 21. Mistakes is a part of making yourself a man. Most good men are formed off of some mistakes they made as boys and young men. Some of it is simple niavety. Others is simply behaving for the moment without thinking of future or in Beasley case his image or how fans will feel about it.

He has money but he is in the process of becoming a man. That takes time and sometimes hard lessons.

What?

You never got drunk and passed out in random places when you were 20 years old?

He was already in a program this summer for

substance abuse problems because it is apparently effecting him enough his employers had to intervene. You’d think he’d lay low even for appearances if not in reality. Besides he’s underage. People with a career have to be careful more than the average 20 year old. If he wanted to have an average life he could have either stayed four years in college before coming out to the NBA so he could live the typical college lifestyle or gone home and do whatever his friends are doing now.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

Depends on what kind of substance abuse problem Beasley has

If it’s weed, let’s just be honest, that isn’t anything that 70% of the league doesn’t already do. The biggest problem is his stupidity in taking a picture of himself with weed and putting it online. If it’s something more serious than weed, them yeah, that’s a serious problem.

by Big D on Oct 25, 2009 2:48 PM CDT up reply actions

Why would they have him admitted into a program

if it was all nothing more than what the other players are doing on their own team and across the league? Why invite the trouble in a “boys will be boys league” if it is just typical behavior?

A lot of NBA players smoke weed, but it’s a different story when you’re flaunting it and putting pictures of your weed online. His borderline suicidal tweets afterwards didn’t help matters either.

Either that, or it really was a more serious drug than marijuana.

Beasley wasn't drinking.

That was a charter boat that the Heat got Beasley during his stay in rehab. They sent a team official with Beasley on the charter to make sure that Beasley didn’t drink.

So they chartered a boat and let everyone else drink around Beasley, who has a substance abuse problem?

That’s a good idea? Really? Holy crap, what a poorly run organization. Maybe Wade will leave after all.

1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

The water bottle must have been his.

I always nap after I drink too much water. That’s right. _
