also, again, why couldnt james have just caught the ball. get his team another possession.

is crushing it into the crowd that effective a weapon of intimidation?

Oscar Robertson supposedly said somthing along the lines of

“early in games I would swat blocks into the seats for intimidation, while later in games I’d block shots but keep the ball in play.”

agreed. sometimes, just letting players do the most aesthetically pleasing thing

is okay. It is, after all, just entertainment.

1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

you might think so, but i doubt lebron thinks its mere entertainment.

otherwise his walk-off in orlando wouldnt make a whole lot of sense. i guess he wants to win. hence my question.

did you not look at the other video in the comments?

Looks like he did it there. Also, people underestimate how hard it is to catch the ball out of the air like that. There’s a reason guys go with the swatting motion over the catching motion.

And I was thinking Wanda lost a tooth or something.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

When Lebron is the trail defender and times up a block like that,

I don’t care who you are, if you aren’t going strong to the hoop for a flush you’re gonna be kissing the baby.

rondo is one of the (if not the) best pgs in the game, hes putting up better numbers than cp3…averaging like 14 assists per game….its gay!!!!!!!!!!! Drose is averaging 9 assists and 18 pts…now those are some nice numbers!!!

On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, majoyenrac, Bullshooter and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light!

lots of things don't make sense in that game

apparently Larry Hughes and Chris Duhon are lights-out from the 3 point line

by darksmokepuncher on Oct 22, 2009 10:26 AM CDT up reply actions

Only Duhon for me

Hughes is off and on it seems. I mean he can hit it but hes always inconsistent on the game for me.

DRose's block on Rondo of a jumpshot last year's playoffs was better.

It was a one-on-one move with a person who was the same height and he made a great individual play.

Mo Williams was toe to toe with Rondo playinng pretty tight D in this clip…. James being much taller and athletically gifted swatting a ball like that isn’t as impressive to me since he came from the blind side and got the easy block. Almost any player in the league could have swatted that shot being in that clean-up role.

Had Mo Williams swatted that ball after playing tight D- color me impressed.

DRose's ankle is unusual, per Vinny.

Nice block

but its funny they put that at no.1 on SC instead of the guy who jumped over like 3-4 people and dunked it. They put that at no.2 it was kind of deflating seeing this next. Liked the block though

don't you know

lebron always has to be #1 on SC :D
