This is why I don't read the Dime no more

Pargo over Kirk?? wtf? I’m no Kirk lover but c’mon!

It's funny

How Tyson Chandler gets absolutely no love because of the “Chris Paul effect” as folks ignore the fact that CHandler’s ridiculously athletic, a legitimate 7 footer, a great defender, and rebounder when healthy (2 things I don’t think Paul helped with at all) and while he’s not an offensive player, he really wasn’t in the Hornets.

But all the blogg talk (not here obviously a lot of Bulls fans are probably Chandler bitter) but on the more global blogs is that Chandler’s crap and was only good because of Paul. Heck you see that inference in some of the espn, si.com sight’s too (less directly)…

But then we get Pargo and it’s “Oh wow”…..

Seriously.

The quality of backup PGs must suck this year I guess.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

What?

He’s not even our best backup point guard. And he guy can’t pass. He’s got no vision. Is he even our backup PG? I thought he was a backup 2 guard.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

Hah

I just tried to comment on that Charlie Rosen fanshot concerning VDN and when I clicked “post” the fanshot was gone… was it a repeat post or something?

In any case, Rosen’s an idiot.

What's truly awesome is that Dime has this in the Bulls preview:
Kirk Hinrich is probably the best backup point guard in the game, and Jannero Pargo is definitely the best third-string PG who can also play the two.

Different authors, but still.

yeah but

they correctly identified him as a third stringer at least, lol.

andre miller might be the best backup if he is coming off the bench. but i’d choose hinrich over blake. seriously though… how can blake seriously start ahead of miller? that’s almost worse than duhon starting over gordon.

Yeah, they've been all up-in-arms over it in Blazer land.

I can see the theoretical argument for it from a playing styles and fit perspective (starting Blake, that is), but I don’t see it working. Miller’s already griped about it, and said he might not have signed there had he been told he’d be coming off the bench.

Where have I heard a story before about a veteran free agent signing that is suppose to help a young team, then he comes in and is at odds with the head coach? Sounds so familiar….

I hope Roy gets caught with a kilo of blow in his car and an AK-47.

That’s about the same as cheating on your SAT in terms of public embarrassment, right?
