My rebulid Our Bulls Plan

I hate to do what has already been done time and time again but since I'm a newer poster to the site I think I'm entitled to my rebuildabulls post. Let me know what you think?

Star-divide

1st Step Fire Paxson - The time has come and he has to be held accountable for the team thats on the floor. Period
2nd Step Hire Jerry West(long shot) or Billy Knight - I know it's very unlikely that Jerry West is going to be walking thru our door anytime but at least give him a call. It's more likely that Billy Knight would take the job. For all the smacked that has been talked about him as a GM let's no forget he put together a Philly team that went to the Finals and the current core of Hawk players. He's not afraid to make a big trade (Joe Johnson trade and he seems to be a good evalulater of talent i.e. Josh Smith and Al Hortford). Yes he did pass on Chris Paul but so did others.
3rd step Fire or demote VDN - He's been the wrong guy for the job ever since he was hired. A knee jerk reaction to Mike D going to the knicks without notice a full days notice, Paxson/Reinsdorf really messed up the coaching search and Vinny was the fall guy. Sorry Vinny you gots to go.
4th Step Premote either Harris or Bickerstaff for the rest of the year - This year in my mind is a total disaster, we don't deserve to go to the playoffs and even if we did why would we wanna go just to get swept by the Cavs or Celtics. Let Bernie or Del take the reigns the rest of the year and teach our young guys.
5th step Trade Noc, Hughes for expiring contracts before trade deadline - the chuck brothers must go, Hughes complains and is selfish and Nocs is no longer in our future rebuilding plans. We need some cap room for 2010, or signing BG this offseason and  maybe picking up some qaulity MLE'S this summer.
6th step Trade Hinrich and another roster player for Good/Reasonable Big Man before trade deadline -  I agree with Bulls83 on this one, Kirk is probably the one core guy that's tradeable right now who can bring us back a mid level quality Big. I would of traded him last year during the draft or the offseason before he got hurt.
7th step Play the young guys (Rose,Noah,Tyrus,Thabo, Gray) -Play them as many minutes as possible. See what they look like together, I mean don't start that five but play them as much as you can. At worst you showcase them (Noah,Tryus,Thabo,Gray) and possibly build vaule for the trade market.
8th step Semi Tanking the season - and hope the ping pong gods smile on us again. This team is no where near ready to contend or even make the playoffs every year. Play the young guys, trim the fat contracts and see where we land. Plus a high lottery pick could come in handy if let's say Amare doesn't get an extension this summer.
9th step Hire Avery Johnson or Eddie Jordan before the lottery - Some of you have voiced concern of Avery being of coach. I have to say I don't think it was him that blew it, I point that blame to the players. Dallas had or still has no heart and that starts with Dirk. He got them to a level they never had been before and they punked out. In the Golden State series they again got punked right out the playoffs. If not Avery I like Eddie. He would still be a coach if Gilbert wasn't fragile, Brendan wasn't Brenda, Antawn wasn't Antawna .. you get the point. Either of the two in my opinion could get us back in the right direction.

ugh

no more lottery picks

Suit up the MJ Statue! It should be able to give us the interior defense we've been lacking! Get on it Pax!

Reacting much?

It’s been 25 games and your saying to do all those things. It’s pretty hard to do all those things in one season, especially with the trades. I mean Trading Noce AND hughes is a tough thing to do.

So ya, wait a season, and then talk about firing coaches.

Also, let D-Rose taste the playoffs. The 2009 draft is one of the weakest in history. SO NO POINT in draft, id rather have bulls get swept by celetics anyways.

What happens when Kirk comes back?

Don't agree

People keep complaining about VDN. Everyone knowledges that he’s a bad coach and make silly decisions. So, why would we stick with him until the end of the season? You can say that it was with him that the Bulls got one of the best records during the circus trip after Jordan era, but I don’t think that that happened because of him. It happened, because we have a Point God named Derrick Rose… and we got lucky in Utah – who can forget Hughes "mistake"…

So, I’m all with this plan. Pax needs to go if he can’t make a trade to clean this mess, like I said before, and so has VDN. Anyone with two eyes in his face understands that…

Someone has to react?

So you think VDN is the guy for the job? Will will not make the playoffs this year with the type of ball we’re playing right now. We can’t even beat the bottom feeders, No point in drafting if your a good team but we’re not.

why an ugh???

You wouldn’t take a top three pick this year at least for trade value. You mentioned that the coming draft would be horrible but that’s the same thing that the experts said about this years draft. It’s looking like there will be at least five future stars in this draft and some solid starters as well.

Its a difficult move to do..

But..
There’s one way (difficult too but maybe) to do first and if it work out, then everything on your list will happen.

1. Find someone to BUY the TEAM from its current owner.
There’s so many millionaire[s] or Billionaire[s] that i know willing to buy this team from Chicago City, the one who care for the team that serve as a face of Chicago City.

If it happen, then all the changes people wanted will come true.

doesn't Uncle Jerry have to sell it first?

He's not going to sell it..

But someone can Lure Him, and give him just some Percentage of owning the Team. At that way he’s still earning from the Team but it will run by the New Management.

That way, Future will be bright.
And ohh, it will be a good way to easily FIRE PAXSON under new management.

Whoever this person is, they'd have to take over the board, not just Reinsdorf

Reinsdorf isn’t a sole proprietor or even majority owner, he’s just the chairman

Who is the majority owner?

Well, he might be a majority owner, but I can't find confirmation

At least when he originally purchased the team, he took 63% of the pie. Not clear on if he’s maintained that share.

Then

Thats a good news… If he’s not the majority owner. Then someone can sit with the Board Members/owners and Push the Case or otherwise Elect a NEW CHAIRMAN.
I mean how bad the situation right now for their Bulls Business?

I mean Chicago fans can be heard by GRABBING the Attentions of those people.
I know its not easy to do, but its one of the possibilities.

Anyone else hear

on CTL last night that the players call Harris and Bickerstaff the “Bucket List”? Pretty funny.
