Why not go over the luxury tax just this once Jerry? You've got the attendance numbers to support you!

The Bulls are also in the top 5 in the category of "Lowest paid head coaches"

In fact, they may be number 1 there. I guess you get what you pay for.

Why resort to name calling?

And top 5

For sure in godawful radio commercials. Those “Hinrich is at the post against Satan and Hinrich scores, Satan is left looking at how he did it….so unbelievable you have to love it live for yourself” has to be the dumbest radio commercials I’ve ever heard.

I thought they were stupid early on, but kind of understood when they weren’t putting any Bulls players in them because I thought a trade was happening, but now that they’re using Bulls names, it’s even worse.

A really bad slogan.

We’re always top 5 in attendence. Last year we were #1 for much of the season and I believe finished #2…….after the debacle of He who must not be named continued.

i actually like those commercials

i wish they would make one for tv, even if it was like animated or cgi, watching the bulls play the “evils” “communists” “roman gods” etc would be pretty cool to watch.

On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, majoyenrac, Bullshooter and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light!

The number is a little misleading

Because the UC is the 2nd biggest arena in the league (Detroit is number 1 in terms of total capacitance), they are always able to draw more fans than a smaller stadium. Look at the percentage of seats sold, they aren’t selling out games anymore due to a year and a half of awful basketball. They are still top 10 in a period of economic crisis, so I guess Jerry can be happy about that. At some point though, fans will give up. We saw it with the Blackhawks, no matter how loyal the fans seem if ownership wants to jerk them around they eventually will just stop supporting them.

oh total capacitance.

They should give money back for the product they put out on the floor! I want my money back for the 10 dollar nachos and the 8 dollar coke. It’s a rip off! Bulls fans need to stop showing up. JR is living off the 90’s. I’m still mad about those nachos. They were nasty!

i'll only eat

in that restaurant on the 1st floor with the sandwiches. there’s definitely a reason i ignore the rest of the food (minus ice cream) there. cause yeah those sandwiches are overpriced, but at least they are decent and i love the root chips.

The desert cart that comes around to the luxury boxes is so good...

it’s impossible to not enjoy yourself there.

uh...

I get why you could be duped by the product on the floor, but you didn’t think $10 (I think it’s more like $6) Nachos were a bad deal until after you bought them?

another funny thing

if you look at away attendance, which should give some indication of who people around the country want to see, it is pretty predictable:
1. boston
2. cleveland
3. LA
until you get to..
4. chicago

wtf? i’m a bulls fan in NJ and i usually like to catch a nets/bulls game, but at this point i think i would rather pay money to see see the lebrons than the aaron grays.

Derrick Rose

"The Zen philosopher Basho once wrote: 'A flute with no holes is not a flute, And a doughnut with no hole is a Danish.' He was a funny guy."

Nobody knows who Derrick Rose is

As far as I know, hasn’t been in a commercial, hasn’t put out a shoe, hasn’t said anything noteworthy. I’d attribute it to MJ-carryover.
