We have to assume this move is a precursor to something else.

You should get it soon...

…LIKE YESTERDAY SOON

nah its really a pretty good simulation game. They’ve made it a little bit harder to do trades, so everytime i pull a good one off i think, damn pax…thats all you had to do!

Finally the last game they were trading franchise players

And D Wade went to the Cavs for nothing (that might of been in 2010 free agency though) but then they were almost unstoppable. Hopefully they don’t have the coaches acting like Vinny or you missing easy shots on higher difficulty instead of the other team actually playing better. (but thats just being picky…at least compared to the other games NBA Live I’ve vowed to never buy)

If its like 20 bucks then I’ll probably have to get it right now since theres a gamestop like two blocks away. (shows how lazy I am)

by Camry on Jan 6, 2009 2:36 PM CST up reply actions

if i may reccomend

dont get it from gamestop….unless they have a used one. the game still costs 50 i believe, and even a used one at gamestop costs like 40. I think, if your comfortable with it, ebay might be the best place to buy it. You could probably find it for 20 bucks plus a few dollars for shipping…gamestop totally rips you off.

I'd gladly watch the Bulls sit out

2010 if it meant that we got Kaman (and resigned BG)…I really hope there is something to this… Would be an incredible thing to see Pax pull it off.

Putting blind optimism aside though

it is probably more likely a move they are making with an actual proactive team (hell, at this point I would take a REACTIVE sign of life from our FO). Maybe the rumored 2 for 1 deal of Q Richardson and D Lee for Camby? Would be nice if the Bulls could be players in the market, just not holding my breath.

A reply over there

says contracts are guaranteed unless a player is waived by January 7th. I think that may be limited to Fred Jones only.

GSW just cut DeMarcus Nelson and signed Jermareo Davidson to a 10 day contract.

12/31: Fire Vinny Del Negro.

another theory there though

is that so many Clips are already banged up why remove two healthy players?

Speaking of which

seems like Paul Davis would be worth a 10 day contract – cutting say Michael Ruffin.

I think they were both on min contracts

only if he faces Aaron Gray in practice

and it’s youtubed for the world to see.

No need to cut Ruffin.

The Bulls only have 14 players.

i know

i can’t believe they’re paying for a guy who won’t even play all year.

But the Luxury Tax!

One ten day contract wouldn’t put us over. Two 10 days might.

Really, why is Ruffin on the roster? Is this Reinsdorf’s deferred compensation or something?

the weird thing

is that the Clips just signed Jones on the 28th.

Where there’s smoke…

oh, I guess one roster spot is occupied

apparently the Clips traded for Cheikh Samb today. He’s tall, so he’s clearly replacing Camby :)

I don't think teams have to release players until a trade is completed

so I don’t read much into this. Not to mention Kaman hasn’t played in a month or so and teams generally don’t trade for injured players unless it’s cap related.
