I dont mind so much
except that he’ll bench ben til he cools off. Ben’s not going to play 48 minutes. Its better than VDN’s typical 12 minutes 1 quarter then benched the whole next quarter.

I might be a Noce fan but I’m not blind. When he sucks, I say he sucks (which has happened a lot of times this year)
But what gets my goat is when people just hate blindly.
Noce could go off for 30pts and some people here would insist he gave up 50 pts to the man he was guarding (even if they had to combine the points of the opponents entire frontline)

noah should be the bulls starting center going forward
the bulls really have 2 good bigs in Tyrus and Noah. They just need to get a Boozer/Amare to come in and provide offense and some rebounding. I think the Bulls, talent wise, are closer than they seem. They just need some competent coaching and a roster reshuffling to get a decent low post scorer (not Gray/Gooden).

The best rotations game of the year for Vinny so far
Rose-Gordon-Deng-Tyrus-Noah played the first 6:30, then Vinny put them together again midway through the 2nd quarter. We might see 30+ minutes from our six best guys for the first time all year!!!!

example....we were up 20-4 to start game...all starters were +16....then someone subbed in for noah...noah stayed at +16 while whoever came went to -4..

We’ve been through this argument several times before (and most here will say that PER, as a definitive stat, sucks) but for the sake or argument, I argue with you.
Noce’s PER is 11, league average is 15. He sucks.
Mareese Spreights’ PER is 20.60. He should be an All Star. His PER is higher than Billups, Durant, Calderon, Kirilenko, Rondo, LaMarcus Aldridge, Deron Williams, Andre Iguodala and David West.
So pick your poison. Either we use PER to say Noce sucks and Spreights should be an All Star or we don’t use it to prove Noce’s suckability and Spreights’ greatness.
Can’t use it JUST whenever it suits your argument.

I agree. With 20 seconds on the game clock in regulation, there is no reason to not run an actual play.
That to me is the greatest example of VDN’’s lack of coaching ability. We are officially FUN BAD!

Hinrich AND Gordon both need to go as far as i’m concerned Deng, Rose, and Noah as a big off the bench are this teams only keepers. And Vinny isn’t that bad of a coach this team just isn’t that talented, we have too many average players, Rose can’t step in and be Chris Paul right away. Blame it on Pax not Del Negro Pax tells him what to do and he does it probably.

I don't think Matt will be back until the Bulls make a trade.
Everyone has given up. This has been one of the worst seasons I have watched. Maybe last season was the worst but this is a close second. You could say the Rose or Eddy/Tyson seasons but you knew they would be bad. This team is so frustrating to watch because they should be good. They all have such big chips on their shoulders and pretty soon they’ll be out of the NBA. Thats what’s so sad, that they don’t care. Their too cool.

I was impressed with what he did with the Kings last year, coaching them to tough wins even though injuries decimated their team. He was poised yet fiery, a class act, and most importantly seemed to have the players respect. He had Brad Miller playing some of the more inspired basketball of his recent career. Also, a former, and popular Bull.

I don’t particularly like him, but I feel for the fact that, unlike us, he can’t just turn this shit off when it gets too ridiculous.

I actually
saw some improvement starting january with our offensive sets. There’s also some improvement on distribution of pt(exept for 4th qtr). The biggest problem I see is in the last 4-5 mins where vdn is not doing what is already working. Putting a midget lineup to destroy a game (w/c makes me think he was ask to tank).
noce provides some spark, but thats what he is, a spark. You cant put him for extended periods of time unless he’s hot. I want to see some of his minutes go to thabo, tyrus, noah. And have gray only in the few minutes that noah is resting. No way he should get equal pt as noah and tyrus even with rew gooen out
Noc can't rebound if there is any opponent in the paint with him
He gave up that crucial put back dunk by Kevin Love because he had turned his back to Love, looked to the baseline to see if you could help, realized he couldn’t and turned back to look for Love who had already crashed the glass for the putback slam.
If you don’t box out your man or any opponent that is in the paint you won’t get the rebound as a modestly gifted 6’7" athlete.
Noc’s threes help us. It’s the constant giving away of points and possessions on the defensive end that are 5 man killers.

where Noc was boxed out by Love and responded by flailing and sitting on the ground. As the Bulls ran up the court, Noc was still on his ass with two palms in the air looking at the Bulls bench. I’m sure Vinny teared up over the hard work, while Del and Bernie rolled their eyes and texted their accountants to make sure the Bulls checks are indeed clearing.

This team need more vets
we need more lindsey hunter type players, preferably a bigman. Gooden, hughes won’t cut it. We need a joe smith type players. Having Ruffin is a waste of roster spot and money
VDN confirms that Rose didn't execute properly
here:
Coach Vinny Del Negro said afterward that the play, such as it was, didn’t call for a screen. Instead, Rose was supposed to dribble right as Ben Gordon flared left, trying to create space and confusion from the defense.
Rose instead dribbled left, right into Gordon, and had to force an off-balance shot with Sebastian Telfair and Randy Foye guarding him.
