Around SBN: Josh Hamilton's Unique Public Statement On His Addiction

From todays NY Post- Nets want Noah or Tyrus

"Feeling the need for a small forward better than Bobby Simmons and the urge to break up their backcourt so Vince Carter and Devin Harris stop competing against each other for points, the Nets actively pursued Larry Hughes as reports claimed; Carter would've moved to the frontcourt. However, the key to signing off on such a deal - unmentioned in everything I read - was Jersey's insistence either Tyrus Thomas or Joakim Noah be included.

From what I'm told, Kirk Hinrich is not available, as numerous outlets continually speculate. The Bulls are a better team now that he's back in the mix, a forward observer underlines.

"He is the closest thing to a leader we have. His tough play along with Andres Nocioni brings out the best in the others who are certifiably soft."

Now we know why the trade has not been consummated.

Hmmm,

look at the first fanshot (and yours should have been a fanshot by the way).

The Game chose him !

I wish

they’d write an article saying the Bulls want Brandon Roy…

Just to give me hope because it’s almost as ridiculous as this comment….Why would we need an expensive equally redundant piece at a SF spot that’s already pretty well stacked with Deng/Noc/Thabo AND include 1 of our 3 emerging young players (hopefully emerging)….

Maybe if an article came out saying Bulls want Roy, we can at least blab on it on these sites and get a glimmer of hope (even though that would never happen)…

there's a fanshot

in the words of Mark Jackson: Cannoli, you’re better than that!

It's funny

Because up until like a month ago—if that, might be like 2 weeks ag- folks used to say to me this should be a fanshot, or this is in the fan shots….and I didn’t know what they were talking about (thinking that what was in the fanshot section of bab was just older side posts….).

Kirk brings out the best ?

the last two weeks we have loss a greater percentage of games and the team is a wreck, and media circus! Where do you hear such things that really don’t make sense???

Why are we move by a little hustle after months of layoff, that will soon return Kirk back to the norm with slumping shoulders and ineffective defense.

Offer Kirk in a trade, him and Rose together does not work. I can see it clearly, I have seen enough. During the stretch were Rose and Ben were clicking it was actually quite impressive, nothing is impressive about this rotation of the 3 guards. They minus one-another out with no one really taking charge and being the starting quarterback for this team.

This platooning of the PG is flat out Paxson/VDN sickness, and primarily another Paxsonian move that will destroy the development and future of both players. Everyone is always looking over their shoulder.

Paxson is a flat out lunatic in a suit known as a nice guy.

man up!

Do the Nets realize...

that they are giving us Bobby Simmons? They want TT or Noah along with Hughes?

The Bulls should have made a counter offer stating they want Devin Harris or Brook Lopez

The Hughes for Simmons/Ager deal seems fair, but we just don’t need Simmons at all. I guess the extra 3 million we save and having Larry out of Chicago is worth it.

The Nets management is doing their DD and looking at other offers

They have openly stated that they may come back to the original Bulls deal if nothing else works out for them… One question Bulls management should think about is, if they are going to take back Hughes, how bad is Simmons really?!
